YES! She’s incredible! It’s sooooo hard to sing!! And no, that’s not gonna stop me from belting it out terribly on my car rides to/from work... and yes, I realize I sound beyond awful and only sing it with my windows up and the volume super loud to drown out my screeches 🤣

I got advice from Kara herself on that song and she said the key is to not worry about breathing. Like when you get excited and speak really fast you don’t worry about where to breathe. And it really helps when I sing it.

I swear! I watched an off-Broadway show of Newsies and the actor had so many fun acting decisions that just got her gasping for air. She sung the entire song pretty spot on, but just did not have enough air to get that belt in the last "whatever happens" out without her voice cracking. Really tough song, especially with performance elements involved.

This song is a beast! Low notes, high belts, talking, wordy, sass... boy! Does she nail it! 🤩 (I only sing this in the car where no one can hear me, and play it so loud that I can’t even hear myself! 😆🙉)

Kara Lindsay is truly a disney princess in my mind! when i did newsies, the girl who played katherine was so great, and when a saw a local production the mic peaked at the end high note and it hurt my ears!

could you react to Christian Borle? He was Broadway musicals such as Legally Blond, Falsetto's and Somthing Rotten!. He is definitly one of my favourites. He seems really kind en is super talented. He portrays is characters so perfectly, especially in Falsetto's. It makes me want to cry every single time.

About two years ago I went to see wicked with Kara Lindsay as Glinda in LA, she was totally awesome! Though, at the end of the show it didn't occur to me to go to the stage door! I'll regret it forever because she was an SPECTACULAR Galinda, and I would have liked to thank her for her awesome performance! She is soooooo good! P.S. Love your videos Hannah!

A couple weeks ago I auditioned with this song for my local high school production of Newsies and may I just say that this song is not only super high it is also really really wordy so that leaves no room for breathing. But she dose an amazing job on this song.

You should do Newsies AND Newsies on Broadway that is on Disney+. Jeremy Jordan stars as Jack in the second one alongside Kara, and they are AMAZING. The singing and the stunt-work is just INSANE.

I’m young (middle school) and I’m working on this song for my vocal training. It’s really difficult, but with a LOT of breath training (four years in my case) it’s possible! I love newsies so it’s a dream come true to be able to work on it!

i’ve never found someone who agrees with me on this! like her vibrato is incredible, but it’s just way too much for this song in my opinion. i know it can be hard to control your vibrato at times, but on the sustained notes in this song they’d sound so much better straight i think.
