I think that's why Lena doesn't want to have feelings for Kara... Because if she starts to have feelings for her in a not so friendly way, she'll lose Kara too. Lena dismisses all her feelings for Kara and tells her self that it's just feelings of friendship and nothing more because if she admits that she likes her, the whole world would fall apart and she'll lose the only light she has. I swear, it seems like that if you did a drinking game every time the arrow verse shows do something that taps into homosexual propaganda, you’d be so freaking black out drunk before the weeks end.
