In the english version he is very bad written or rather the charakter got transleted very badly. Imo Oikawa especially is the reason why you have to watch the show in japanese.

They did try talking to kageyama. That's a big part of why they finally gave up. You don't want to work with someone who won't work with you after many tries. And basically they won against a great team yeah, but it's like saying it was not their main pitcher, or main quarterback. Put in main boy and the entire team could change

Nah Heisuten, dont make preconceived assumptions about Oikawa's character. He is complex. Watch him out. Too many reactors try judging him too early and suffer later because they are no longer open minded enough to see and understand him when he is vulnerable. Dont make the same mistake and keep the judgement on Oikawa to later

7:28 yes, you have to win by a difference of two points, or the first that reaches 25 by a more pronounced difference. if you watch again, you'll see that they won 25-23. also, because maybe this will confuse you on future chapters, they play the best of 3 sets, and if each won a set ther play the third one. normally, at least in western, the definitive set is played to 15 points, but here you'll see that they still play till 25 points, apparently that's how it's play en japan or eastern countries. at first, it confused me when I saw this normally in high school they play the best of 3 sets, but here we see that a final is played the best of 5 sets, and if they reach the 5th set, they do play till 15 points, as we're accostumed. hopefully this helps haha

I also feel like Kindaichi is secretly sorry and ashamed of what happened. It's true that Kageyama was an asshole, but they responded with bullying him from the court, which is just as wrong. Kindaichi is trying to justify it with Kageyama's behavior, but his honest and humble response makes it difficult to overlook their mistake as a team. I love the small sub plots that evolve slowly but steadily beside the main story of Hinata and Kageyama with Karasuno.

No way dude. That is a really bad take. Haikyuu has one of the worst dubs which brings none of the colorful cast to life and everyone sounds the same. There are no Hinata noises, Kageyama's angry boke, Oikawa calling people -chan or Tsukki's snarky laughs. Things that add way more character and life to these characters. So no..
