Karate Combat Season 4 - Event 3: Jesus Lopez vs Myrza-bek Tebuev 

There are ground strikes in karate kombat. This ruleset's point is to make Karate more appealing. Typical tourney karate is not pleasing to crowds unless you are a diehard karate fan. This however bridges the gap a bit to mma and the result is alot more people watch this than any regular karate tourney. They also put on a good event, the setting is always great.

All fighters are black belt in a karate style, that doesn’t happen in kick boxing, and here they are able to get prepared with some other sports or martial art such as kick boxing, muy Thai, box, etc and that’s valid cause they are mainly karate fighters

They'd get ktfo at the top levels of K1 or a MT ring

Kick boxing is a mix of karate and box

Striking is different with the smaller gloves, you cant throw as many big combos like kickboxers can since its much harder to block while attacking. Karate is designed for small/no gloves.

I train with Paucarcaja and he can kick your ass in kickboxing
