Noah you deserve all the success in the world. when I found you in Gamology I couldn’t help but always smile because of how much passion you have for you craft, I have been able to learn so much from you as a result. I showed my husband your videos when I found out you were casted as Kenshi and we both felt so happy for you!! you have supporters till the end and I can’t wait to see what other blessings are gonna come your way :)

karate could win with punches and low kicks with powerful attacks but with taekwondo evading and defense and actual contact and great countering, taekwondo could win

Each one. If "all goes" depends on fighter (notice what will opponent do, what will do,how much of deadly moves will/won't implement ....List goes on and on) Most loose fights because are predictable and trains only few stuff (BOTH have crazy kicks and punches!!! Lately watched how Karate guy fckd Muay guys legs-hits at inner thighs avoiding underknee blocking. But "lost" because didn't hit with hands in head. What Muay did,and twice into eye. Just because brain was trained not to-on competition can only with leg) From my experience (trained Kyokushin,Tae & Muay ~8-9y;with 6y during war-that don't count because gotten banned from competitions "until get older or heavier="Too fast, too furious, too deadly"😁 but made me have "loosen" stance,never know that did trained and/or what will do) Plus some illegal boxing, and that was just as "support" for friend(didn't learn anything, earned nice amount of money)

It really depends on the fighter not the style honestly. Both style has their pros and cons.

The passion you have for martial arts is infectious and if I was able to live my life again, would love to learn one of the martial arts and have you as my sensei! Keep on doing what you're doing and thanks for sharing.

There's also a feint spin kick in karate. Where they do a spinkick but pull their leg before it hits and do a round house instead. Which means the kick suddenly translates from a different direction than from where the spin kick comes from.

The bowing everytime they passed of the pad was no nice to see even if it wasn't necessary, i remember doing it when a really skilled senpai came over to me and complimented me on my technique and we showed each other our techniques,we passed the pad back and forth and i bowed every time it's like an instinct, i learned so much but more importantly respect and appreciation cause they could've just kept it to them selves but instead they chose to guide me and nurture my skill, they probably had nothing to gain from it certainly have nothing to teach them but they did it anyway. Love the videos Noah and congratulations on all the success

I'm 43 and since I was young I SO wanted to do a kicking based martial art, where I could kick high, due to my hip flexibility being so shit. I once attended a tae kwon do class and really loved it, but it was too far to drive there. Still wish I can, but sadly you don't get many tae kwon do classes here in South Africa. Mostly karate/kickboxing/muay thai/judo.
@aaronbaptist1563
@aaronbaptist1563 8 месяцев назад
I really wouldn’t recommend high kicks since it’s not very practical in real scenarios. However, if you wanna practice that just to improve your flexibility, you can still learn high kicks through those different martial arts tho. They have the same principles in terms of kicking, they just differ in terms of focus. If you focus kicking high gradually even with Karate techniques then you’ll still achieve what you wanna achieve soon.

@@aaronbaptist1563 high kicks are 100% practical
@aaronbaptist1563
@aaronbaptist1563 7 месяцев назад
@@GinoTricks Debatable. The easiest parts to hit when in a fight is from the neck down. The body is wide and is not high, very easy to hit. On the contrary, aside from the fact that the head is high, it’s also a little target which would make it hard to hit. I’m not saying it’s impossible to hit it perfectly, it’s just impractical given that you’ll be compromising your balance and you’ll be susceptible for takedowns.

the karate kicks are kinda diffrent to what i do, probably because i do kyokushin but idk cause i was taught to not snap your kicks but to try and go through the thing your kicking, like i said i might be dumb or its just how kyokushin works, idrk

@alpachinko9154

Gloves make the difference in why sport Karate allows punches to the head. Goju & Kyokushin etc don't punch to the head (in sparring) cos typically, you may only have MMA gloves on, if not, barehanded. Can't train with your friends anymore if you give eachother CTE each time you train 😅 (Not intended as a "we're too deadly to spar" comment, more of a sports science/welfare position)

As a karate black belt I find TKD super intimidating. TKD gets a bad reputation for poor quality instruction but assuming you’ve got a comparable level of instruction in both TKD imo requires greater physical fitness. You cannot be an out of shape person and do a 540 kick.
