They’ve been friends for a long time, so they’re probably aware of how much Somin likes to mess around and stuff. Some people just don’t want to be teased or annoyed all the time, so they’ll only do so when Somin’s in the mood. As friends, it’s important to respect each others’ boundaries which is necessary for any healthy relationship. Also, keep in mind we only see the tiniest snippets of their interactions. Maybe in front of the camera Somin just doesn’t want to engage in the teasing and play fighting as much, which is also fine since all idols shouldn’t feel pressured to act a certain way just for their fans’ enjoyment.
