Message: the love between them is gone, both males and females are suffering. While the girls struggle and try everything to win their partners back, they quietly die inside (meaning they become colder and colder towards their girls, until they "die" on the inside). The girls end up hugging someone who is void of love (the corpse part is a methaphorical way of saying the boys who they loved are no longer themselves, no longer the ones who loved them back). The boys eventually fall into a deep depression, and become absent-minded. Like the video shows, they fall into a passive state (not any better than a dead man forced to stay into this world).

If we go with the fact their partners are really dead. It seems Somin's character starts to realise it as shown in the video that"s why Matthew Is through out the video in only one spot and doesn't move. While Jiwoo never accepts the fact that's why J.Seph has more active role he eats, he himself stands up from the table... Ah I just love Kard so much!

Even after years I still love this song and MV. Literally, how all KARD members are good actors & actress. You can see how j.seph and bm were dead since the start then you saw somin as somewhat a girl who can't accept the fact that her lover is dead already while jiwoo are already crazy and just calmly still keeping j.seph body

Theory: Jiwoo murders her lover when he threatens to leave her for another woman. This perfect life she established with him is threatened so she murders him to maintain control. She is able to maintain calm throughout the entire MV because this is “right”. She is able to continue to manipulate her lover to live her perfect fantasy. Somin is tormented during the breakdown and proceeds to go insane because she didn’t. She couldn’t process his death so she ignored it, but it shows by how little she interacts with the body. It stays in one place for the most part. The movement or lack of movement of the bodies is very interesting. Jiwoo was very interactive by pushing/dragging it into different spots to do so, Somin simply places herself by him and hopes for him to interact with her/to come back. Obviously she played a more submissive role in her relationship while Jiwoo played a more dominant role.

KARD is known for their tropical house/electronic music style and they have a different concept each comeback with the same genre so there isn't a need for complaining that their songs sound alike when really they don't. This genre suits them so well and is what made them successful in the first place. Just because it is tropical house every time doesn't mean they have 'the same generic beat' for every song , you can clearly distinguish the different beats and rhythm in each song esp in the rap parts, so please stop with the unnecessary 'THEIR MUSIC SOUNDS THE SAME!' comments

ONE OF THE BEST CONCEPTS

Somin & BM - Somin is super clingy and obsessed with BM. She thinks that everything she's doing is making him happy when in reality BM is super frustrated and angry that he can't leave this toxic relationship. When Somin realizes that her relationship is dead, she spirals into more insanity. During her spiral part, Somin kinda laughs to herself a bit. To me, it seemed like she laughed because she probably knew, deep inside, her clingy/obsessiveness were destroying both BM and her relationship but chose to be ignorant about it. BM is only himself and "alive" when Somin is not looking at him, venting his frustration and anger. Jiwoo & J.Seph - To me, it gave off those K-Drama tropes where two people are in a relationship, but the guy doesn't like it because he loves another person or was forced to marry the girl because of his family. Jiwoo already knew that her relationship with J.Seph was dead from the beginning, but it didn't matter to her. So long as they LOOKED like the perfect, chic couple who eat steak dinners and look good in front of other people. J.Seph is only able to express himself when he is alone, hence why he rapped in the bathroom. 0:59 When Jiwoo's part comes in, I really love how she made that face. It's kinda like a hidden smirk and it also shows her manipulative nature. Edit: Oh wow, I didn't know a lot of you guys liked my theory hahaha. I also noticed later on that Somin is the ONLY one who says "My love you are my everything" > indicating her extremely clingy and obsessive nature? :) (I also turned off YT notifications so I didn't notice my post became popular hahah thanks guys :D )

So i searched what 'APEGO' means and Apego(Spanish) is 'Addiction' in english. It also said something about Attachment Theory.. So basically Jiwoo & Somin are crazy clingy girlfriends of dead JSeph & BM. The girls kept their bodies even after the boys death because they're attached/obsessed with them and they still try to make everything normal as if they never died...??? Idk, pls dun hurt me.

**THEORY HERE WE GO** so firstly, u can see the contrast between the 2 rooms with jiwoo x jseph and somin x bm. these represent the two sides of love a person feels. one composed, elegant and the other wild and out of control. now on to the dead guys. i think the girls represent a person still stuck in a relationship that had already ended. and the love they had is represented by the guys. and they are already dead. saying that the love the person is still holding onto is already gone. u can also see the girls still trying to interact with the guys, meaning that the person cant let go. one side of the person is feeling out of his/her mind and going crazy (somin) the other is feeling cold and indifferent and still believes that the love is still there (jiwoo). also apego means something like attachment in portuguese, meaning that the person cant let go of the love thats already gone and is still "attached" to it so thats it and i hope u agree with this theory lol

Goodness. You know what, this MV and concept reminds me of the same vibe as "love the way you lie"... It's talking about love - but more of an unhealthy addiction. Somin was an enabler... She let BM have what he wanted and he ended up killing himself? Jiwoo on the other hand, started controlling J.seph more and more. Suffocating him. Lesson learned: true love is neither manipulative or condoning. It accepts limitations and flaws but it also dares to confront and challenge norms and habits that are harming to that person. This is an amazing message you guys. Very grown up.
