And we, the young generation, thought he was only shooting hooks.. meanwhile he pulls up from midrange, shoots runners, fadeaways, dribbles the ball at 7’2! The media does not portray him well he is way more versatile!

Arian Hamidizadeh it’s sad, but the media kind of put a disregard on his greatness because of how the U.S. is Christian base supposedly the land of the free and can serve God/Allah in any way, but him converting to Muslim has to be the reason he’s not celebrated. Just my opinion.

ReG G facts sir...and the thing about it, and I’m not trying to be philosophical or go to deep into this. But if people actually read their bibles they would understand God told Abraham that he would bless his family, it’s no way you can defeat that. And the descendants of Islam are direct descendants of Abraham...But ahhh I’ll get up off that. But yeah Kareem was one of the greats lol

“Kareem, we need you to: - shoot from the right - shoot from the left - offensive rebound - defensive rebound - block - assist - dominate One more thing: we need you to do it over and over and over and over again for 20 years, both in the regular season and in 100’s of playoff games, including 11 championship series, winning six! You need to also remain humble and grounded throughout the process. While you are at it, become a civil rights activist, a champion for equality, and a prolific writer while off the court.” Kareem’s response: “Sure thing. You got it. No prob.” Mount Rushmore. One of the true GOAT’s.

Better Laker than Kobe 💯, as was Jerry West (compare career averages to Kobe), and Magic Johnson. And while Shaq was on the team, he was 3x Finals mvp and people love to talk about Kobe. Elgin Baylor was a better Laker. Look up the stats. Kobe's shooting percentage is like Russell Westbrook's for a career. I love kobe and his daughter, this is only basketball 🏀 talk.

@@susantabibian1701 True, but a lot of times when people debate about who they think the GOAT is, they talk about MJ or Lebron. A lot of times, players like Kareem and Wilt get left out of the conversation, which I find crazy. Kareem is the all time leader in points, he has the most MVPs, 6 rings, and a phenomenal hook shot. Why isn't he in the conversation more? I would argue that Kareem and Wilt are both better than Lebron, and they should be in the GOAT conversation instead of Lebron. Lebron is kind of overrated in my personal opinion. I'm not saying he isn't good, Lebron is obviously great and he's definitely on the Mount Rushmore of basketball, without question. But I feel like he gets way overhyped because of social media and what not. Social media didn't exist when Jordan was playing, and everyone knew who Michael Jordan was. People all around the world even knew who MJ was, even non basketball fans. Everyone wanted to be "like Mike." Lebron is great, but like I said, I think he gets too overhyped from social media and I honestly don't think he is worthy of being in the GOAT conversation. And FYI no I'm not just some old guy who's being biased, I'm only 19.

iron man well than if you watched his whole career you would be biased towards him, if you watched all of wilts career you would probably say he’s the goat. And really the only reason he won chips over wilt is because he always be a mvp caliber point guard on his team that averaged around ten assists. Wilt never had that. Wilt also got robbed out of many mvps and still won 4 of them. Kareem also played in an era without bill Russell and the Boston celtics.

If Wilt was the most powerful center of all-time, and he was, then prime Kareem had the softest touch ever for a man his size and probably for any center. Half those shots where he just turns over his shoulder and shoots it where the defender just watches are sent to the 5th row in any era but his. 90s,00s,10s you name it. To think he is the greatest basketball player of all time off of accolades as well is blasphemous. MJ had 3 times the accolades in 5 less years. Old head stuck in the past.

But hey, you very well may be he only person on the planet to say Kareem is the GOAT, so you got that going for you. Shaq would shit on this fool. Hakeem would school him out the gym. He would be your average 7 footer that can run and jump better than most. Most of his points are pussy ass over the shoulder jumpers that are sent into the 5th row today. There are 3 or 4 plays in his highlight reel that are buckets today. His dunks are soft and would be sent back today. He really, REALLY ain’t it.Example shot at 0:15 is sent to the 5th row today. Thank you for sharing this....., i saw the Big Fella play from the day's of U.C.L.A...., and he was the most DOMINANT PLAYER EVER!!!!!! Kareem has 4 high school championships, 3 college championships (it would have been 4, but freshmen couldn't play back then) he has 6 championships, THEY OUTLAWED DUNKING BECAUSE OF THIS MAN, HE HAS MANY M.V.P'S, DEFENSIVE PLAYER AWARDS ECT.....IT'S TIME TO STOP DISRESPECTING THIS MAN, AND GIVE THE G.O.A.T STATUS TO THE REEL G.O.AT, KAREEM ABDUL JABBAR (PERIOD)

In today's game, "I could be of some use to some teams" 😂 never said he would drop 50 20 average. What a humble guy! Truly a legend!'
