If a Muslim believes in sharia law, and sharia law is above all other laws, then how could he swear to uphold the US constitution? This is the most stupid issue ever made.

+Johnny Brasco People believe what they want to, are you going to fight everyone until the end? Sharia in it's 100% is not used, however certain govts. like Saudi Arabia pick and choose whats favorable for the Kings to gain leverage. Sharia is not not Sharia unless it is 100%, so in other worlds in a true Sharia the Kings would be punishable by death if they deceive the people. Terrorists would be eliminated for harming innocent etc. It's the ultimate checks and balances. In reality, no Muslim is running and the US Constitution is the law of the land. Anyone who wants to be President has to follow Constitution.

+youngblood23rb I listened to Ben entire remarks to muslims.. Let me tell you he know's nothing about islamic literature.. Nothing at all, I wanted him to tell me phrases, koranic chapters or islamic guidelines... He never explain not 1 reasoning from any islamic literatures!

I grew up learning about people who built our country, the world, inventors, educators, scientists, writers, world leaders, etc, the majority of them were white people. LET US, the black people in our country, the black people in our world, have our pride that we have witnessed this amazing feat, we have undeniable proof that, YES, WE CAN. Can't you just let us have this? Please?

I am not taking anything away from anyone, that is not my intention. I grew up learning about the contributions of people from all cultures. Perhaps it depends on what part of the nation you were educated in. My school was very diverse, it was there that I learned about people who were bi-racial. It is a beautiful thing and something to be proud of, that is the only reason I brought it up.

i think kareem is wrong. i have many muslim friends and good people who would fight for me and have my back in a fight but as much as i love them and great they are they believe religion stands above the constitution and that is understandable but threatening as well as islam is more than just a faith it contains laws and regularions for what they consider a civil society. can islam seperate itself its politics? it sounds inevitable.

Dr. Carson did not say he was against a Muslim president. He was against a Muslim as president that would not denounce Sharia law.

Mizzy Wizzy Your referring to actual people with mental disorders and calling them Christian. Those guys are not quoting the bible and shooting up the school or mutilating people, or beheading. They are not directly in any way linked to a religion. I think that's where the confusion happens.

Jabbar writes an article stating how Carson's policies would be wrong for Black Americans when the real reason he's against Carson is because Jabbar doesn't like Carson's views on a Muslim being president. Two different things Kareem. Sad that you'd equate being Muslim as being the same as being Black and then use that as a costume to hide behind in criticizing Carson.
