What an honor it was being brought in to perform for the @lakers halftime show to paint NBA LEGEND, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, LIVE in less than 6 minutes upside down as a surprise gift for their beloved emcee, LT, on LT night!!! What a blast it was getting to perform again at the famous @cryptoarena9537 in Los Angeles California !!! The game was completely SOLD OUT, filled with celebrities and fans, plus the Lakers took home the win- it was a HUGE game!!!! A few highlights you'll see in this speed painting performance video is me not only painting furiously fast (as always), but with a very colorful palette so as to conceal the surprise for LT even more; I got to shock and awe a FULL arena of GRIZZ fans when I TRANSFORMED a starry canvas into a portrait of Kareem. at the famous Crypto Arena (formerly known as the Staples Center) in Los Angeles, CA-(which you'll hear them because the arena literally erupts in a ROAR leading up to and at the flip- they were so excited ); & you'll get to see not only how giddy I am in all my various facial expressions when I get excited that I nailed it, but also that of LT's - where the camera pans to his WOW expression and he literally throws his arms in the air when I reveal the portrait of his favorite player!!! I couldn't have asked for a better reaction and it was so neat getting to surprise such an important person to the Lakers Franchise. Performing for the Los Angeles Lakers has always been such a bucket list item for me in my career and being invited to perform the halftime on this special night made getting to check this off so much sweeter. So! I am ECSTATIC to get to share this performance with you!!! The talent of NBA players are amazing and I always have a blast + am so honored to share and perform in the same arenas alongside such incredible athleticism, talent, and legacy which is displayed and celebrated worldwide on the courts of the @NBA !!! This NBA halftime speed painting art piece of NBA LEGEND, Kareem Abdul Jabbar , captures one of his classic looks when he played for the Lakers and it was wildly celebrated that night!
