I partly do agree with Kareena Kapoor 's statement on nepotism. A mediocre film like Dhadak which has Janhvi made such good business but well made films like Laila majnu and Tumbbad just came and went nobody even cared about these films . So I think to some extent even audience needs to decide what films they want to support irrespective of who's in it. Star kid or not but if the film is good then there's nothing wrong with supporting it. But if you are against all the star kids because of their privilege then you can choose to not watch their films also. Ultimately it falls on us where do we want to put our money.
Sure! My problem was, shouldn’t you be grateful that the audience showers you with love? How can you say, then don’t go see? If you take audience for granted, not everyone is dumb na. It’s not like we can’t live without watching her movies and she is delivering some service like saving lives by working in army, or as a doctor or something. It’s entertainment; it’s easily replaceable!

@@nikitavenkat4367 I think it also comes down to how the films are promoted because the movies of the star kids have the support of their parents and family members who are already famous so it easily reaches a greater mass than the movies with tight budgets...It's a little audience's fault but not entirely. And also Kareena is very ungrateful for these privileges that's why I think the hate is justified.
@nikitavenkat4367 fair enough but films like tumbbad and other had very low promotional/marketing budget which also led to low box office collection in comparison to other high budget movies with known faces in it even though tumbbad was was a hit. Many of them weren't aware of it's presence in cinema.

I was die heart fan of kareena before but after seeing her interviews and the attitude that she show i don't like anymore like i used to do before . She is gorgeous, have done such a nice work in lots of movies but her attitude is unbearable .

I don't think that people are boycotting LSC bcz of Kareena Kapoor. Because she has also starred in many other movies and those movies were not boycotted. Also, Amir Khan's statement is not the only reason the film is boycotted. There are other things he did in the past that are anti nationaliatic imo.
But in a way Kareena is also right. In an episode of Koffee with Karan season 7, Karan Johar said that we (audience) make star kids stars by giving them attention (eg. Taimur without doing anything, 9 out of 10 people will recognise him). So if a director casts a person who is already being talked about is common sense to them, as it is obvious that the probability of a film to get hit when there are famous people is more as compared to people who are not much talked about. Eg : if you come to know that Taimur is being cast in a film, some people will go just to watch him irrespective of the story line .
@N_Ka_T definitely some celebs pay the Pappz to cover them, but mostly pappz capture what is in demand and is liked by the audience. If there is demand , there will be supply.

Audience are being brainwashed. Star kids are forced on them. Even 2-3 years before a star kid launch an entire force of PR start putting their pics and videos everywhere. Everyone knows they are bad to mediocre actors, but still are constantly praised. 7:18 it's soo true when celebrities are pregnant and working everyone just make so much hype about it like she's so hardworking and all and its not wrong they are working it's good. But many pregnant ladies which are common housewives or common womens are also working while pregnancy but no one cares about them. some of them don't even had enough food to eat so they have to work hard for the food and needs i have respect for them.....

What I love about Alia is the way she's evolved as a person. An extremely talented and humble actress. The same thing cannot be said about her (once) role model, Kareena: not only is she arrogant, she's proud about being arrogant. Sad. I sincerely believe Aamir to be an intelligent man whose statements are more often misinterpreted than not.
Honestly if the original movie was excellent and this movie is just remake of that film. Even kareena has mentioned it then why should we waste our money and time on this film .
Honestly i saw the trailer of this movie and didn't find it very appealing for some reason. Amir Khan has done movies like 3 idiots, dangal, etc. so i think subconsciously we expect him to do movies that are a little bit more unique. Maybe our expectations r too high 🤔
Imo actually for once movie stars should see what happens when the theatres are actually empty after their provocation, no hate, no trolling, no bullying just a silent but a strong lesson. I didn't know that any movie like forest gump was there, then I saw the promotion of LSC mentioning it's a remake of forest gump, coincidentally I saw forest gump on the release date of LSC. Because when we can watch an original on ott platform in my comfort zone without giving extra money then why should I watch a remake. And what to say about biopics .... I don’t think Alia is anything like Kareena. Firstly, she’s a much better actress yet very down to earth. She’s not arrogant like her. She’s more like able for sure. I feel in pandemic if not all but a large chunk of people are used to watch movies in the comfort of their homes. Especially people who live in rural or small towns like me, it takes me about 2 hours of travel to watch a movie and I seriously avoid it untill unless I can not wait to be that movie on OTT like RRR or KGF2.

Kareena cannot make a movie hit with her solo presence. Alia can. Proof is Darlings. Despite all the boycotts and what not, Darlings has become a big hit. Can Kareena ever pull this off? No chance. Alia is a very superior actress when compared with Kareena. She maybe a starkid but she, just like Hritik, knows how to act. She can save a movie by acting, she doesn't need glamour. Kareena believes she is in the sky. Her only good movie was Jab We Met. And 3 Idiots. And they worked because of great direction, not her mediocre acting.

So i am a SSR fan...and i don't know how boycott lalsingh chadda is now trending.. Personally i don't want to throw up my opinion to someone else..if someone wants to go and watch, they should..they make money i don't make money for them ..i don't have any right to claim my thoughts on their choices..In home my didi loves to watch Bollywood and she's watching every new released movie..i don't stop her because it's her phone, her choice..But whenever i just think to watch a new Bollywood movie, i just remember the smiley face of SUSHANT and i literally can't..and i am happy that i can't.. don't think i am regretting..i am now 17 , i still don't go movie theatre, in future if i will, i will watch Bengali, Tamil and Hollywood movies..yes at the end of day it's my choice..And who will gonna hate me for thinking it's my public stunt for my RU-vid channel.. no it's not..i closed my RU-vid channel for copyright claims from RU-vid.. I mean she's not wrong and its not arrogance....it's just she doesn't sugarcoat things.....literally everything she said was brutally honest. People are actually way too sensitive Who the hell has obsession with other people's kids like People have with taimur. That's exactly what she said . And literally people are obsessed with every move of star kids and then they complain about how privileged they are.....doesn't make sense to me too
