What one does not like, another loves. I have the CD, but I love this rendition much more because of all the riffs and high notes. She lets the Holy Spirit take over, and that means more than sticking to a prearranged plan. I believe that is the plan of God, that we make a plan, but give way to the Spirit of God.
THIS IN NOT XFACTOR OR AMERICAN IDOL. KAREN IS THE KNOWN AS THE QUEEN OF RIFFS AND RUNS. SO LET HER DO WHAT SHE IS SUPPOST TO DO. I AM A HARD CORE KAREN FAN AS WELL AS TWINKIE DORINDA NESSY AND JACKY.
This song is divinely for God. She’s so spiritual filled. I know just what she mean when she said God hidden her in a secret place. He protect and secure his own through all things that were meant for your bad. This song is beautiful and powerful…. She’s truly remarkable and has a beautiful voice….
Amen! There's nothing like feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit through song. God Bless you Karen Clark Sheard. The Lord is doing great things through you! Praise the name of Jesus!!! Glory be to God Hellelujah!!!!! In Jesus Name!!!!
I enjoy this! This is one of my absolute favorites. She goes into that Secret Place while she sings, she does not quench the Spirit. The Holy Spirit flows all through her into me. Sing on for The Lord, Sister Clark-Sheard!
This song is a big encouragement to me ..... Karen this rendition of this song blessed me deeply and ministered to me deeply.... So much love for you Karen .... The anointing so real
Thank you Jesus that through you, with you and in you Lord WE have a secret place!!! The Blood of JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bless GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Amen!!! Thank you Jesus!
let me say this. me being a vocalist, i have a great deal of respect for karen clark's actual voice. people can look at vocalists and expect the vocalist to cause an effect. it becomes about the high and low notes. but there will come a time when karen won't be able to hit high notes. i just hope people can see her for real singing. she has been a real inspiration to me. god bless.
Karen... sang...There Is A Secret Plan...For You Hide Me In Your Tabernacle from the Rain and Storm...There Is Safety , There Is Protection in Your Tabernacle... Lord Take Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I prefer the straighter version. This is way too busy for my taste, but there is only one Karen Clark-Sheard, and one Richard Smallwood. Great artist, great song.
People are too hard on singers, and have no idea how sensitive and how difficult it always to maintain the vocal clarity when touring and traveling etc. Its evident Karen is not in perfect form here and hoarse. The amazing part despite vocal hoarseness, she was able to hit the notes, and give her all vocally to this. Karen betta SANG!
How many times are you going to respond my comment? This is the second time. I don't see it the way you do anyway. Lets just choose to disagree, and leave it alone.
@beankatie I AGREE!!! I had to stop the video because she is doing toooooooo much. I can't even get into the song. I think that's why I've never been a hard core KCS fan, she's good but she does WAAAY TOO MUCH AT TIMES...and it's annoying. I LOVE Dorinda though! :))
