Too late. The stores security cameras caught that epic meltdown way before that other woman started recording. And you know there were others recording as well. I'm surprised there isn't more footage out there, but at least she have the people reviewing security tapes a good laugh.
From 10:40 onward, it was obvious that the young blonde woman was having a serious mental breakdown and/or a panic attack. It was totally out of order for the African American woman to continue recording her and only aggravating the young woman more. She clearly asked the black woman to stop recording her mental issue, but she continued to do so. It was a reprehensible act to simply film someone in obvious distress, without offering her any help whatsoever. The black woman obviously thought taunting the young woman was all a big joke. She should've simply walked away, and let the store's staff handle it.

It's clear the woman has issues but she was the antagonist from the beginning and if the other woman hadn't filmed this she might have been kicked out of the mall, detained or arrested if this crazy woman decided to call cops and lie.

My grandmother (GM) told her daughters and granddaughters to never hit a man because they will hit back. GM version 1.0 was bossy, abrasive, and entitled. My grandfather (GF) was a pleasant, soft spoken, quiet man. Early in their marriage, GM was mad about something and slapped GF. Without hesitation, GF slapped her so hard that her head spun around like the Exorcist. GF didn’t smack her back to factory reset, but to GM version 2.0. That GM was the sweet, patient, and caring person that we knew and loved. They were married for 62 years.

The truth is, if you hit someone, they have the right to defend themselves no matter what the genders are. It's a valuable lesson to learn even if they are right. He wasn’t detained, he made no attempt to walk away. Not being able to drive is not detention, otherwise protesters blocking roads could be arrested. He voluntarily stayed with his vehicle because he believed that his supervisor would back him up.

I had something similar happen with a coworker one day. My coworker was acting crazy, but our manager told me to stop interacting with the crazy coworker. I later asked my manager why she told me to stop interacting instead of telling the crazy coworker to behave. The manager responded by saying that I was the one who was “Reasonable” and “in control” between me and the coworker. So the manager thought I would be better able to control my side of the interaction.
Tjai85 - Actually, it’s general policy in any store to not allow recording for a few reasons such as security (think casing the joint). It’s not illegal but a store policy is enforceable given that it’s private property. They can ask you to stop and have you removed if you don’t, including getting the police involved for trespassing. Personally, I think that woman has some kind of phobia. Best to just walk away. We don’t know what set that person off. TBH, the woman recording wasn’t looking to stop it or she would have extracted herself from the situation. The person recording was pushing buttons to get a rise out of a person who has some irrational fear. Respect boundaries and walk away. Unless, of course, there was some legitimate initial reason to record her like a threat. The woman recording knew damn well she was escalating a weird situation. Can’t teach common sense.

The woman was having a mental break, and anyone doing so can be very dangerous, just because she ended up on the floor, does not make her safe, and the woman recording may have been laughing, not from humor, but as a nervous reaction to the situation. As you saw, the woman who was upset chased the woman recording a couple of times, and it is hard to say what would have happened, had she caught the recording woman. We have a nation of people who are having mental issues and who are not following their treatment plans, and as a result we have people who have breakdowns and other issues that can be very dangerous to everyone around them.

It’s so funny when I was young I dedicated myself to becoming a doctor… I thought helping my fellow humans was the most nobelest of goals…. After 25 years I’m just putting in my time trying to get as much money for me and my family…. And to dissociate myself from all the crazy people….. I’d say 7/10 patients that I see in an average day are bat shit crazy…. Like these morons in this video
