I heard the pink hair story before. Grandma had no right n the way she treated the sitter. Police officers can’t do anything about that situation. Mother had given permission to dye the hair. Parents don’t need to let her come over while the sitter is there.
The last story only made me shudder at the possibility of losing my abilities in old age. I'm a young senior and I'm scared whenever I can't remember a word or name or the incident my flatmate is describing to me. I know talk is cheap when you're active and your brain has (most of) its connections, but if I ever get to point that I'm disoriented and frightened in a seniors' home, I'd like to know someone will slip a needle full of insulin or something into a vein while I'm asleep. What a nightmare.
I’ll admit I may be only 36 but that’s also a fear of mine if only cause my grandma had dementia and I fear going down the same path when I’m older kinda why I keep a couple games with a few puzzles at minimum around (and yes I know Skyrims puzzles are easy but still)
Story 5: "I'm a writer" ... and the whole story I was waiting for the punchline that never came ... the one where OP turns out to be a social pages editor for the local newspaper or a novelist, who then wrote Tiffany's story up as an exposé or made her the antagonist in her next novel. ... sadly we never got the karma this story deserved.
