Karen rejects your reality and substitutes her own.

That's when you call the police and have Karen arrested for trespassing.

“Okay, not even going to engage with her; I already prematurely aged enough dealing with her when I actually had no choice in the matter. Calling the cops and letting them handle this.” - Me in that scenario

If she’s banned from the property, call the police to have her removed. That should drive it home to her.

Now Karen went from annoying to full scale insane. I would keep distance until SWAT teams arrive. ;-)

Why even argue? "Hello, police? We have an individual who is refusing to leave the premises. Could you send a couple of officers down just in case they need to be forcibly removed? Thank you."

This happened to me. I had a boss get BANNED FROM THE INDUSTRY. And they thought they could set up an LLC and start doing the same thing, but the person handling the area calls this LLC and he responds! And she's like what the hell are you doing back?

"I'm still your manager." "Hello, police? I'd like to report a trespasser." Then to Karen: "Enjoy the new accessories coming your way - shiny silver bracelets."

"I don't feel safe... for my brain cell count being this close to you..."

Is it really possible to be that delusional?

This is getting to be like the cartoon 'Rejected' where the person coming up with the Emily vs Manager skits are slowly losing their grip on reality

Karen by this point is too delusional to be a realistic representation of that one bad boss we’ve all had at one time or another.

At this point, I wouldn't have walked out from behind the bar and I wouldn't have engaged her in a long conversation. Terminated and banned from the premises doesn't occur for a slight infraction: banned from the premises is for the safety and security of those employed there and for the clientele. Karen's response that she's the manager to the "what are you doing here?", would have been all I needed to call that new manager and let that person deal with her, even if the manager isn't on duty. That is one time you *do* contact an employee at home for guidance unless you've been given the authority to handle managerial duties in that person's absence. If that is the case, don't engage: call the authorities.

I was honestly hoping for the competent employee to be promoted to manager.

Worked for Veronika. She said she had been fired 6 times and just keeps showing up.

I remember a video of a lady that was fired from a call center and she wouldn't leave. They called the police and she was still trying to delay her departure from the company. They had to cuff her and "escort" her outside. She was a bit drunk and in deep denial.

*YAY* !!! The owners of the pub *finally* woke up and FIRED Karen!!! Evidently, though, Karen is now having a *major* mental health crisis. She is extremely fortunate that she does not live in the U.S. though, so she still has *some* health care coverage to help her work through her mental health issue...

These videos are fun, but most of them are very unrealistic revenge fantasies for line employees. I had them myself, but recognize that most of the worker behaviours here would lose you your job, very quickly.
