Karen Huger is really the paradigmatic housewife. She's smart, witty, biting humor, sometimes delusional, extra, endearing, a little messy, heartfelt, delivering wig shifts and fun! She is everything we need in a housewife.

They have good chemistry as both friends & enemies. They’re great together when they get along but they’re also great together when they’re feuding. They’re both essential to the show IMO, for various reasons.
Amahle Mxezengana It’s not a hate train. If someone who is over 30 picks up a knife and throws it at me because they’re upset, screams immaturity and mental instability. She’s a little rabid dog, when someone says something she doesn’t like, she goes off the deep end going off on people which is completely unnecessary. She even went off on Karen who’s been riding for her from the beginning because he had a tacky cash bar at her party she couldn’t afford and karen made a slightly shady comment.

It’s like the stress from Michael all gathers in her forehead and it just expands. Like if I could choose, I’d rather have my stress go to my boobs or butt, then it would all be worth it🙌🏾
It's crazy because I remember there was a scene where Robyn had to meet Karen regarding the issue. Robyn being the loyal member of "can't mind their business to save their lives" community thought she could get more information out of Karen. Juan had told her to just be supportive and not dig for things that are not her concern otherwise it would backfire on her. She didn't follow Juan's advice and indeed it backfired. God don't like ugly

Ashley gets away with a lot of insults considering the ladies ONLY get on her about Michael and gold digging. There is ONE MORE UNSOLVED MYSTERY IN HER LIFE. Bravo touches on that mystery delicately, and we get enough to speculate. The nerve of her to insult the Grand Dame. The nerve.
I love how Karen went from the posh Grande Dame to the Gangsta Grande Dame. She gets Potomac together esp Gizelle from Bethesda. She is the only Karen I stan.
Karen gathers Ashley, and Ashley isn't slow, either, so it's fun to hear them go back and forth. With Gizelle and Robyn, Karen destroys them with ease.

Initially the show was based on Potomac etiquette. She has class, but I think she played it up for that reason. Remember Charrisse played into the etiquette pitch. The ladies didn't know they were The Housewives of Potomac. I think they were in the pitching phase. That's what we see them doing their real thing now. Well some of them.
