DAMN!!! 🔥🔥🔥Karen Mulder was always so effortlessly sexy, and she knew how to translate that sex appeal into the clothes and walk. She always gave me major early-day Cameron Diaz vibes, when she debuted in The Mask. Hollywood blonde bombshell, but with a statuesque body of an Amazonian goddess. The ultimate Barbie of the 90s. We miss her so dearly. She and Yasmeen are literally the only ones of the major 90s supermodel who haven't come back in the runways, even in this 90s Renaissance time. I will still remain hopeful. 🤞
@@markdwighttadina7655 Pretty much. Every decade has their own blonde bombshell that exemplifies the Barbie look of their era. The 90s had Karen Mulder, Claudia Schiffer, Eva Herzigová, Valeria Mazza, Daniela Peštová, Rebecca Romijn, Adriana Sklenaříková, etc., and outside the fashion industry, Pamela Anderson, Cameron Diaz, and Anna Nicole Smith. The decades before had film and TV stars like Mae West, Jean Harlow, Veronica Lake, Marilyn Monroe, Anita Ekberg, Jayne Mansfield, Brigitte Bardot, Ursula Andress, Farrah Fawcett, etc. I wouldn't say Karen was the model that pioneered that niche/aesthetic in fashion, but she was definitely the one who exemplified it best. She always looked so elegant and expensive in glamorous makeup, clothes, and hairstyles that allowed her luscious golden locks to shine. And she always oozed natural sex appeal, with that beautifully carved facial structure and those plump, full lips. 1992 was by far my favorite year of her in terms of look (well actually, for all the supermodels). Whether at Vassilios Kostetsos, Gianni Versace, Gianfranco Ferre, Valentino Garavani, Oscar de la Renta, Claude Montana, Ralph Lauren, etc.
Doubt they will. The industry is big on criticism and people in the world are cruel they'll find something to describe in a bad way, in comparison and say how "old and not the same" they are. Like some people are doing with other models.
@@markdwighttadina7655like Candice but don't think they are similar, in this comparison Karen has effortless (almost born) sex appeal Candice is a bit grown into it because of VS. And I don't think either of them have the Old Hollywood glamours look, maybe Karen have it a bit, but not Candice, she has a very modern face=completely different to the old times
@@lissandrafreljord7913 the women you mentioned all have their something, I think not all of them fit the Barbie look. They can all be placed under blonde bombshell category though, but women of the past decades, especially before 1950's can't even be associated with Barbie because the idea didn't exist. Just because a woman is blonde doesn't mean she's Barbie. I mean yes, we can see anyone as the lovely doll, but I'm just saying that I'm not sure why we have to put them in a box of Barbie (which I love too by the way). Why not acknowledge them as their own thing with their own popularity. As for any of them having that Barbie look, Claudia Schiffer fits the doll look best
