You can always tell the people that just started watching RHOP season 5. Karen told us years ago that she got a driver for when she goes out drinking after getting a DUI. I was so embarrassed for Robyn when she called Juan. Robyn’s hand was shaky af holding that phone, she was nervous about how that call was going to go. And she kept his yelling and cursing all on speaker phone, I would’ve hung up so fast and acted like I had a bad connection

Robyn did not appear confident calling Juan! Juan reaction was priceless. Hopefully, this second time around, Robyn and Juan will get it right! Charisse is squandering for a storyline! Gizelle is miserable. That's why she is constantly making petty situations with the women more complex than they are! Candace, Karen, and Wendy are definitely the favs!!!

When I saw Wendy and Mia make up I said to my husband that Brooke is going to put Wendy on her place. Her and Candice are too friendly and forgiving to these women and they don't deserve it.

I don’t think Mia knows how to handle her fame or being a person that lives a privileged lifestyle. The fact that she could just throw Jacqueline and their friendship away after so many years is a huge sign that she’s on her high horse because of this show. When you start losing long-term friendships it’s a problem with you more than it is with them and I hope that it will come back to bite Mia!

I’ve said this under other reviews but I believe Karen because back in season 5 at her wig launch she told Robyn “you need to worry about what Juan says while he’s drunk”… I didn’t get it much then but my God does it make so much sense now. Karen’s claims are 10x more valid than Gizelle’s against Chris because Juan actually touched her and said something inappropriate to a married woman. Period.

Juan has motives for marrying Robyn...something is happening behind the scenes that made him actually do it...Robyn is also very insecure and probably always has it in the back of her mind that he is cheating, cause the way she became passive aggressive and calling Juan to relay the story so that he can deny it, as though he was gonna say he was doing it....he also, got real angry too!!

TRashley always looks soooo gleeful delivering mess. I bet she never had a real friend in her life...

I felt when Mia said to Wendy "she doesn't know where they went wrong...", she meant from the inception of them meeting. They had a rough first season and Wendy kept telling her to shut up at the reunion. That beef carried over into this season and they've never had an opportunity to reconcile their differences

I don’t know why but the Robyn/Juan phone call took me out. I couldn’t stop laughing 😩😩 what did she think she was doing by calling him? I saw someone on Reddit say that Gizelle claiming Mia is jealous of Wendy is colorism. Mia has nothing compared to Wendy except her light skin/racially ambiguity - let’s get into that!

Ok, long theory: Karen told Ashley about the blonde because she knew she'd run tell it. That would make Robyn mad and go after Karen - I don't think Karen actually cared what Robyn came at her with (she and Ray have an arrangement, probably). The point was to get Robyn to show her hand so Karen could tell everyone who she went to HR about. The socially distanced hug between Karen/Juan makes more sense to me in this scenario: Why would Juan be cordial and hug Karen if she lied about him to HR? He wouldn't hug her. But if Karen/Juan mediated and he admitted to being drunk and inappropriate, he might be nice but very cautious like we saw. And I know Robyn knew about the HR issue because she wasn't shocked and she "could not confirm or deny", which is an HR/Legal statement indicating she knows something...

I don't see it, I just don't see chemistry between Rob n Juanita. Mean girls so Rob says 😑, what a crock of bs. Karen lying just turns me off about her. That without a man works for MissHell because she thinks she should. Y Wendy? I couldn't be cool with golf ball👀.

Mia apologizing to Wendy was suspect. The only reason Mia immediately made up with Wendy was because she fell out with Jacqueline. I feel like she wanted more of the women on her side with plans to ostracize Jacqueline. I screamed when Karen said Juan wanted her 🤣😂🤣😂

Honestly I love Candiace and like Wendy but a lot of what they are doing is what Hazelnut Spread Samuels did in the past seasons. They want to be friends and forgive people that do not need it and we saw how it turned out for her. I honestly do not care about Robyn being married because the meat and potatoes we all want is the Coppin State scandal. Juan gave her a storyline. Him cursing on the phone brought joy because if he did what they are accusing him of then who cares how he feels. He clearly did not care about the player's feelings.

I'm sorry I keep commenting this morning, but I too have noticed that the Potomac trips are low budget in comparison to the other franchises. I'm blaming Andy/Bravo. I'm confident that Potomac has brought them enough money to invest more into the cast trips.

I remember Karen saying last season that she went to HR about being squeezed so tight by one of the husbands who I originally thought was G but now know that it’s Juan. My theory is Robyn cooked up this bogus story with Gizelle about Chris to deflect from the Karen/Juan incident that she knew Karen would bring up this season. Notice how Robyn never denied it. Also why didn’t she get on the phone and call Juan about that? They were spoken to by H R so there is no way to deny that Karen brought this accusation to their attention.

Great review once again! When they put that sketch photo of Karen up I hollered! Production has been killing it. However, that trip looked cheap and low budget. Especially when they showed up at that buffet. It wasn’t giving luxury at all. Then the Wendy and Mia situation. I’m tired of Candiace and Wendy giving these women chance after chance. They are not to be trusted. Side note: Karen has ordered beers before though.

That conversation with Gizzard and Mia gave me a headache! Her telling Mia Wendy is jealous...what?! And Mia is dumb enough to believe that! That was the most stupid, projection-filled, delusional conversation I have witnessed! And Mia slithering to Wendy and be nice to her all of a sudden and Wendy forgives her...again! The trips overall on this show are not goals at all! Candance was serving lewks in this episode! I love her Gucci hat, sunglasses and outfit!

Gizelle is right there behind Karen. Gizelle act like she’s in her 40s when she’s far from it, this woman has issues. Mia is a pathological liar and puts F in fake so I’m not surprised, Robyn a follower and annoying I wish she wasn’t a main cast she’s tiring, Ashley always messy nothing new, she’s a miserable young adult , Karen is funny as shii I love Karen 😂😂😂, I love Wendy, Candace grew on me.

Mia worked in a gentleman’s club probably for white men. They typically do wear long dresses at the beginning of the night and finish roughly topless. They do serve better food. She’s not wrong per se, but it is a form of exotic services.

Maybe wendy and candace realised that that’s how they have to be and pretend

Wendy and Candice are too nice and it infuriates me sometimes. They need to not be so quick to forgive. They can stay cordial without being “besties” again. I still love them though. Also did you catch WWHL where Mia said she would have a quadruple with Wendy, Eddie and Gordon? I remember Mia said on her first season that Eddie kept looking at her, but in reality she was checking out Idris Alba’s twin 😂

This episode had me in stitches. A couple of thoughts: -I need Wendy and Candiace to stop trying to be in the clique. I think they can navigate as acquaintances without looking like a weak “pick me.” And I hope that Wendy would not allow Mia anywhere near her. She has a beautiful family and I think that would be disrespectful to happy Eddie and the kids -to mess around with Mia at all, let alone after the assault. -Robyn’s receipt fell flat. If she had just continued to succinctly clap back at Robyn and Gizelle, she would have won this battle. However, while I believe that Juan is in the streets and he may have hugged her and said something about a threesome, I think it was a joke. I think Juan wanting Karen is as ludicrous as Chris wanting Gizelle. And that’s not shade at Karen because Karen looks great and actually looked better than Robyn in her business khaki skort. I just don’t see any of the men flirting or being inappropriate other than Michael and G. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The mixed/GEBs united in the name of taking down the black women! You see none of them could hold onto a relationship but they saw the bw happy and said let's sabotage. Karen was just collateral damage and easy pickings for them. These women don't think women like Candiace and Wendy deserve happiness. That's why them and their crew are all insinuating that Chris and Eddie want them. It's sickening!

I think like you, Ashley. Wendy and Candiace forgiving people so readily when they do something to them is exasperating. It gives pick me vibes. I get wanting to stay on the show so you have to work with these people, but then there's also making sure they know you are not going to allow them to treat you any way they want.

This is like a very badly written TV show. The relationships do not ring true because the characters are dishonest. It is boring to see fake stuff all the time on a reality show. IMO.

Miss Kurn didn't forget that gossip, conflict, and controversy are Ashley's lifeblood. She most certainly planned on Ash putting that battery in Robyn's back, which she knew would lead to a very public controversy where she could clown Robyn. I respect Miss Kurn's game! Especially since Gizzard and the Gooch/Robyn love to make a scene at Karen's events (including this season when Gizelle encouraged the PYT gang to confront Candiace at Karen's event... I'm sure she was hoping to embarrass Candiace and ruin Karen's event... glad that Candiace didn't take the bait and explode as she wanted). Also, I think Charrisse may be clinically depressed. I was recently rewatching old seasons. She used to have cute outfits in seasons 1 through 3, but now she always looks bedraggled as we see. And she seems to be inebriated perpetually on-screen. I think she is depressed since her and Eddie's divorce and her kids moving out to start their adult lives. I am sure that the Champagne Room she built in her mansion only exacerbates matters as alcohol is the worst substance for depression. Also, it doesn't help that her friends, Gizzard and the Gooch (Robyn is like that bully from Diff'rent Strokes) seem less concerned about her wellbeing and more concerned about weaponizing her against Karen.
