Karen is a slang term typically used to refer to a middle-class white American woman who is perceived as entitled I mean, technically that makes it a racial slur. also sexist. It’s okay though because racism against white people is not just tolerated but encouraged by RU-vid.
James, it would seem that she does have makeup on. The deception comes when many women justify that they don't have "that much" makeup on, so it's practically no makeup. She appears to have some stuff on her lips, eyes, and brows. Perhaps she has permanent makeup aka tattoos, but I would reckon that she has some regular makeup. It is not a huge deal, but she tried to pull the whole "flattered" because you're saying i look good naturally thing. I do think that she is being deceptive.
She annoyed the hell out of me! That was the first time I've seen anyone say the word "Karen" is racist towards black women!🤦🏽♂️ I've seen many white women make that assumption but never a black women. I think her friend knew she was in lala land with that one but she was staying strong.😂
@shanemooney6118 i mean i didnt know i could request body cam footage or i would be in a video lol would you settle for my friends dad getting his ass kicked by police? I think thats on here somewhere
to be fair i exercise my right to record every day. Both my running vehicles have dash cams and ive got maybe 9 cameras around my house several of which are pointed at the public. Only reason people dont complain is because i dont use a cellphone
And the guy walking up and grabbing them is an exact reason why people need to be able to record, because there are weirdo aggressive people out there who want to control everything. Then the women try to control the vocabulary of everything.
There you go, that's what I've been waiting for, telling people to "have the day you deserve". Kinda says it best. Keep it up guys and have a good day !
The level of ignorance and outright hostility that these karens and darrens display only proves that you need to continue with your important mission, guys. Great work!
There is a very old movie called to Marry a Millionaire. In it a gentleman is someplace that he's not supposed to be with a woman who is not his wife. And suddenly the Press swarms about him. That movie is like 70 years old. And even then they were saying that if you go out in public you risk getting photographed. Deal with it. The woman who you were talking to said what if she's off work and doesn't want to be found out. Slacking off work doesn't disturb her. Getting caught that's the only thing that disturbs her. Her problem isn't the camera, it's her behavior. Anyway highly entertaining video as always.
It never ceases to amaze me that people will come up to you and say; "You can't record me without my permission" and then turn around and start recording you without so much as a "May I"? It's the same old "It's not OK for you but it's OK for me" attitude of privilege.
"So you're explaining to ME, as a black woman?" It's absolutely amazing to me to hear educated men/women saying things like that. Imagine how society would work if NOONE was allowed to tell black people anything. You had to just stand there and listen to everything they say. Not able to correct anything that may be wrong. And by that logic, everyone who is less "privileged" than a white man would also fall into that group. We'd just have to walk around taking orders from everyone 😂
I am so disgusted with myself! I call people Karen’s often, and I just found out it was the same as calling someone the N word! Wow. …Not.,..seriously lady?
@@rogerborg ALL YOU GOTTA DO IS TRY TO PUT YA HANDS ON ME AND I PROMISE ON YA SOUL I WILL HELP YOU TAKE A NAP!!! SIMPLE AS THAT!!! PPL NEED TO START DEFENDING THEMSELVES!!!!
I would not do her. But since there are some Canadians in the comments could Y'all send some Oka cheese to North Carolina, I could do some Oka Cheese!!!
every time it's the same words over and over again in almost the same order from everyone that tells you to not record ..... it's so insane. you should do a montage of it .
Comment anything! That's freedom right there. I had a conversation with a different first amendment auditor on this subject. He was talking about how he wanted to do some more controversial stuff, but that has to wait until he gets more subscribers. In the same video, he talked about how he blocks people who comment in opposition to him. It was my opinion that he is losing engagement opportunity. I suggested that you really want to reply to those trolls, as they are very likely to reply back. A few minutes later there is a reply thread of a few dozen messages. How a person deals with opposition says much about their stance. I deal with my trolls happily, because I am happy they are there. "Hey, thanks for helping" confuses them. When I explain that I appreciate them supporting my channel it gets them to question what I mean. I tell them that every single comment and reply is helping to build my channel, and that i appreciate that they are helping me. It does not take much perspective change to be honestly happy with a troll in your channel. Many large creators say that their biggest donations come from people who use to be their biggest troll. We won't break down as many walls or change as many minds if we block those who have a different opinion than us.
26:31 I think we ALL need that throw pillow that says: "I'M EXHAUSTED FROM OTHER PEOPLE BEING EFFIN' STUPID" That pillow is literally the meaning of life.
The guy in the camel sport coat was all rationalism and class with the way he discussed it, asked questions, and listened. And the lady in the blue sweater over her shoulders and the one with the blue grey cardican were great. Same age group and likely similar social economic range as the attacker guy, but such a different reactions.
And you got some cool folks too 🤜🤛 You guys do rock !! 😁🤙 That guy looks like Danny DeVito 😉 And way to Go woman that works at tree company!! Women are strong 💪
Lots of Karen’s out there of all colors! 🤣Awesome lady getting excited at 19:15 who wanted to record you. That would be me. I’d probably take a selfie 🤳 too. You could tell the guy cop was going to be a tool by the way he was leaning on the meter before he even opened his mouth. Great video! 👍✌️😁
OMG! I listened to you guys last night while I was working! I was crying laughing!!! Now I can see the idiots!!!!! Lol thank you for making me laugh when life sucks sometimes!! 🙏🙏😝😝
I absolutely loved the way you handled "officer" Casey! Put him right in his place and called him out on his bullshit. He's a weak and terrible cop, and you handled it beautifully! Very satisfying to see you get his badge number after he initially claimed that he couldn't divulge it. What a disgrace. Deceiving the public while on official police duties should be illegal, and he should be reprimanded. If I were you, I'd lodge an official complaint. He acted very unprofessional, while his partner identified herself right away as she should.
The camera reveals the truth about people, forcing them to confront their insecurities and bad behavior. This is why well-adjusted people with good intentions never seem to mind the camera, or are just curious about it. Many people want filters to control how they are perceived, but public photographers strip that control away. Some people even resort to extreme measures, such as involving the government, to manipulate others' memories of them by force, which is totally disgusting. Anyone who tells me to turn the camera off is basically a demon to me and cannot be trusted.
People like that Rug/carpet business owner should be asked why they are so concerned with extra exposure. Increase the reason severity with incrementally escalated potential reasons. Escalate your questions to match their completely crazy and entitled demands. Starting with: "why don't you want others to see your business? what's inside?" "Is there people, products, or services you are not supposed to have in there?" All the way to things like: "Child labor/sweatshop?" "Could it be human trafficking?"
I shit you not. We had to rebuild the front of a Strip Club in my city. Why? Because we originally built the front with no windows. It's a Strip Club, duh. But City Code says all businesses in the downtown must have full front windows. So we put in windows, then built a wall directly behind the windows.
Some idiots just don't get it. The ignorance and arrogance is really quite astonishing. Some people are clueless. What does one do with that? I avoid it at all cost, but these people actually think they have the right and authority to violate others!!!
He just told the guy “ask me questions, that’s what my shirt says”, and then when someone asks they say none of your business. That is being a douche if you ask me.
staring at someone is dictated by culture. studies have shown that up to 3.3 seconds is normal in our culture. staring at someone for minutes on end is not acceptable. it doesn't matter if your hiding behind a camera or a or not.
