She seems like a sweet lady, but unfortunately she doesn't have "Magic Hands". Number one basic cardinal rule for pianists...nails must be short. No clicking sounds, please...that's a huge no no! Proper hand/finger posture is arched hands and fingers slightly curled at all times...like holding tennis balls. Long nails forces one to play with fingers flat as per demonstrated and restricts movement. Sorry, had to state the obvious on behalf of all pianists out there. *cringe* Otherwise, she has chic nails and rings though.
Hi there, Phyllis wore false nails, with nail art already applied, for the purpose of this shoot only. She does not normally play with long nails but kindly offered to play for Karen in between takes on-set (the shoot took place at her home).
