During this ecq, I've been listening to diff asian songs like of Thailand and Cambodia, and I noticed na ibang iba ang genre and taste nila sa music unlike sa'tin. For us, we've been listening to lots of hugot or break up songs for a long time and kunting kunti talaga masasabi mo na break out artists sa pinas... but sa ibang bansa ang mga local artists nila sobrang dami, and on every artists iba't ibang genre and they have their own personality, ngayon kopya2 nalang. Hays. Bottomline: we should embrance diversity sana sa music natin. This is also Ppop. She's so underrated... sayang.
Wag ka pong mag alala since nag viral ung buwan Ni jk dumami na pong artist and good music na nagagawa nowadays kailangan lang naman nila ng madaming fans para ma inspired sila sa paggawa ng music ehhh tayo mahilig tayo sa kpop or jpop and pop na Hindi sa atin parang nawawalan ng gana ung artist na mag create ng good music like this
Yess embrace diversity para lalo umunlad music industry natin. I mean were good na at rap or hiphop and ballad songs . Its time to embrace fresh music naman
Why do Filipinos sleeping at this kind of quality? I'm a Filipino and this makes me so proud. Karencitta is setting up a new bar! Will be supporting you from now on❤️
As a kpop fan. Karencitta and many artists using the bisaya language has the potential para makipagsabayan sa worldwide pop. Filipino which is a tagalog based language fits more on ballads.
We have a multilingual Ppop group called Alamat. They are a versatile group. Pls check their songs Kbye, Sandigan and Tibay 'Yan. They will be releasing their 2nd single Kasmala very soon. It's a collab song between Phil and Sweden. 😊
should have called BINISAYA, another term for Cebuano... Those who speak in Davao and some parts of Mindanao speak Binisaya... The dialect of Cebuano Bisaya is a group of languages found in Mindanao and Visayas.
She is so underrated, I really hope she blows up. The way she sings is a breath of fresh air, compared to "mainstream" actresses turned singers on TV with no talent. Direct and non-pretentious, I like it kahit hindi ko maintindihan ung bisaya part ok lang, makes me think I should learn the language soon. Thanks for the upload, I love your work=)
Shout out ko sa mga bisaya diha , Nag buhat sad kog kanta about Cebuana tanawa diri please ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wFrae04NUaY.html hope you will like it😊
HONESTLY, THE FIRST TIME I HEARD THIS SONG, I THOUGHT I WAS LISTENING TO A GWEN STEFANI SINGLE.I NEVER THOUGHT A FELLOW VISAYAN SANG THIS SONG. PADAYON KARENCITTA. KUDOS!❤❤🎉🎉
To the people who said that the mv should be about Cebuanas doesn't mean the people here aren't one. What if they relate to Cebuano culture? Or they have Cebuana vibes inside them? The problem about most filipinos is they want to be accepted and to be acknowledge by everyone in this world but cannot accept or appreciate a foreign's presence about just an MV? Instead of being thankful of the thought that even foreigners have acknowledge the music at some point to be apart of it. Just enjoy the music, its really something to be proud of ❤ And also, congrats Karencitta! 🎉
Ashley Lopez So you are basing it on "what if's" ? An unproven theory doesnt provide credible point, what if they were just hired and dont have any idea about the cebuano culture? psh, not hating on the video but cmon, stop imagining things
Brandon Bugtai I am not imagining things. It is an opinion, and I can say whatever I feel. If your opinion doesn't compliment mine then you are free to speak up out of my comment by the way. Have a good day
The Latin / reggaeton vibes! The Philippines needs this music now cause Spanish is becoming more global! Karencitta could change the music landscape of The Philippines! Más Latino por favor 🔥🔥🔥
Heyyy PH we need to set our bars HIGHER! We should explore and try every music genre.
We should get more music like this in the Philippines. Just lessen those cheesy songs and pacute ones. Lessen not stop.
Nya trip man sila sa uban di way but anay. Wa bitaw pud sabut but anay.... ahahaha
When this song was release I'm one of the lucky people who saw this treasure before was recognized by many people today. I can't believe that this song is already 3yrs ago.
i'm a kapampangan and ilocano, i like this song and happy that this song came from the place cebu. proud to be a filipino regardless if you are from luzon visayas or mindanao.
Wow !!! it's hard to believe that it's been 5 years already, but this song never gets old! I can still remember when it went viral and all the clubs in Cebu couldn't resist playing it. Even more impressive was the reaction of foreigners when they found out the artist was a Filipina. This song truly made me proud to be a Cebuana! Proud BISAYA!!!!! AYKOG LABDA HA! Love this line!
the market is huge for this kind of genre, i hope more visayan and mindanaoan artists will showcase their talents like this one. payter kaau maka proud sa mga BISDAK!
Thank you po :)
I AM SO PROUD OF THIS SONG. and the artist who expressed her pride with such music genre not evident to most Filipino songs. With songs like these, it immerses the Filipino music into an evolution of pride and a wider spectrum of expression.
It wasn't specified that it was a good music because it represented a whole country. The production of this music genre with its theme does represent THE EVOLUTION OF MUSIC in the Philippines. And for the Philippines to have LOCAL ARTISTS that are being CHANNELED is a good sign of recognizing what's ours. Of progress. (review: colonization in the Philippines and how it chained Filipinos) Despite the given statement; "it does not have to represent a whole country to say it's a good music" remains true, I do not see how it was proven otherwise in the comment.
Pota nakakagulat kasi Pilipino gumawa nito gosh. Puso ko natutunaw HAHAHA. Kasi when people say OPM, they automatically think of those unoriginal love songs with only a few really good ones. Tbh, we need more of these EDM music in OPM para malawak na you know? Level naman bansa natin par! Puro sad/in love songs na lang eh nakakasawa :
I'm crying ewan ko ba. This song deserves an award ❤❤ kingina kala ko english na may latin pota wahahahaha sorry sa bad words LoL pero naloloka talaga ako grabe! ❤😂😍
She needs to bring back her yellow ideas. This is already good, IDK is far beyond. You are creative Karen, just need to stay true in your music and passion like your previous songs. Dont hype like others, you are unique! Keep up and cheer up! ;)
Can everybody please stop arguing about the Luzon Vs. Visayas-Mindanao thing? This is one reason why our country isn't progressing. Pressing on stereotypes to other culture doesn't mean yours is better than theirs. The Philippines is a multi-cultural country and we must stand together as a country. Let's just appreciate that our country is producing good quality music worth listening to. :)
well, no doubt na mas nindot jud ang bisaya na songs and especially kani nga song which is pang international jud siya. kawaykaway sa mga bisaya diha. #proudCEBUANO #proudBISDAk #proudBISAYA
Philippine music industry and "artists" should be inspired by her. She does not only make good music but also great music video. In cebuano, ikaw na jud dhai. kuyaw kaayo ka!👏
I agree. The music industry in our country needs to follow the latest trend in music so that more people will recognize them not only by Filipinos but also foreigners.
'Yung ganito 'yung isa sa mga dapat pinapasikat. May karisma sya.
Yezzz I think we should unite rn!! Coz kung kaya nga natin "pasikatin" like you know what I meant?!
The music video, the lyrics, the beat drop, the artist, the vocals, the visual, the music everything is just perfect. Need more of this in the philippine music industry and finally someone has started it
My sis open this song everytime she hits my bluetooth speaker. Time came, i ask her what's the title and she responded " cebuana". It surprises me cuz the song sounds international to me. Curiosity brought me to check in youtube. This song made me feel better cuz I'm a proud Cebuana here. Very well written Song.
the beat was good and the whole music actually, i was glad she put that bisaya rap tho i dont know if its in bisaya but i hope filipinos would start this kinds of music. it was beautiful and its not like the usual music made by others where there is only english lyrics. so yahhh thank youuuu i hope your music grows and becomes more popular
me with life -yup that"s the point of inday Karedad not to change the lyrics of rap part bisaya gyud. Jon Ingoldsby of Yellow Bird Records, a Grammy awardee agreed to her so Karencitta signed to them. The concept is to capture the western world... i believe.
After she signed to Yellow Bird Records by Ingoldsby, a Grammy awardee ...I believe that someday.... the Cebuana will touch the heart & able to penetrate the western world .. inday Karedad panahon na ni nmo.
I first heard this song on Magic 89.9.. I thought it was a new release song somewhere in North America. When I heard her rapping in Cebuano I felt astounded and can't help my self looking for this song in Ytube.. I feel proud of my race.. Kudos to u Karencitta!
Jaycee Blanchard this is the internet, i can comment whatever i want, whenever i want. You should be the one to get the fuck out if you dont want to be corrected and get triggered easily.
4 years ago nung first time namin narinig to ng bestfriend ko nung naghahanap kami ng pwedeng sayawin habang umiinum haha. until now pag naririnig namin to, magtitinginan nalang kami tas "tara shot?" haha. indeed memorable.
Filipinos love Canada too! You guys are really the sweetest 💜 We hope you’ll enjoy your stay there, and that you’ll hopefully leave with more happiness than when you came! :D
I was in 2nd highschool when i first hear it on radio and become one of my favourite songs of all time. Right now I'm currently Grade12 student and till this day i listened to this wonderful song.
I can't understand people creating conflict against Tagalog and Bisaya (Luzon and Visayas). Still we're the same Filipino so all glory (and problem) is to all of us. SPREAD LOVE NOT HATE
@@QueenLadivah lumalabas talaga ang totoong ugali natin im from visayas, our crab mentality originated long before our history..its true also that cebu or sugbu once was a great empire kaya i have respect with this people better than taga luzon..wag natin sabihin na if tagalog ang national language natin tagalog na ang hari? Its a big big no..sabi nga ni karencitta " wala akong paki"..
I've been going out partying and hearing this song. ITS BEEN FUCKING TWO YEARS AT NGAYON KO LANG NALAMAN NA MAY CEBUANA LANGUAGE PALA TO! Hahahaha akala ko spanish part yung cebuana language hahahaha yawa
