I m from kargil, many pakistani army killed in the war were buried respectfully by the local muslims with permission of the Indian Army

What Pakistanis get by invading Kargil? Ask your generals what they did. So many mothers lose their sons. Not a single general boy was harmed in the Kargil except common Pakistani. I have sympathy for this mother but utmost hate for the corrupt Pakistan Army.

What a shameful army that first insults its brave soldiers saying that they were not their own but Mujahideen. Then refused to take back their bodies. Such an insult to those who laid down their lives for their nation

My biggest uncle was got martyrdom on Kargil war as well was from jammu and kahsmir rifles but we got his body, maybe because he was an Indian may allah bless my uncle and every solider who died, may peace end this suffering from both sides soliders 🇮🇳❤️🇵🇰

My Uncle who was lance Naik in IA killed 3 Pakistani SSG soldiers with Kukri and captured 1 SSG soldiers. He said bodies of dead Pakistani soldiers were rotting as in July as it is sunny. He told his CO about bodies and POW and he ordered him to stitch the bodies as the mortal remains of soldiers needed to returned. As soldier he was familiarised with Urdu one of the soldier was from Dandot. Then bodies was transported to lower area and then was buried.

At the age of 30, after reading for a couple of weeks, i came to realize that the Indian Army won the battle & fought extremely gallantly. It was an epic victory. Our Army fought well but this adventure shouldn't have happened. Resulted in the loss of so many human lives.

Kargil was a sad memory for many, I m from Manipur India and I lost a friend who just got engaged. Worst thing was, his coffin was just his uniform and few fingers wrapped in an ice pack. No parents, no siblings, no fiancee, no friends can ever forget that, even if they want to.

Brave parents! I salute you. Your son was among those who were chosen ones. I pay respect to soldiers from both sides. No matter which country they belong to. Soldiers deserve respect as well as their families.

That's why indian army are most professional army in the world salute our brave jawaans who sacrifice his life for our mother India 🇮🇳🙏 Jai Hind 🙏

Many good men lost due to an ill planned operation conceived by Musharraf.He committed this blunder without thinking about it's ramifications.The dead bodies of all Pakistani soldiers were buried by the Indian Army according to proper Muslim rites .Respect from India 🇮🇳

My Mamu Havaldar Syed Touqeer Hussain Shah embraced shadat on 15th May 99 in the Gultari Sector. He was OCU by trade attached with 165 Mortar Regt. Artillery and I remember before leaving for the war zone he said to us that I will be back in coffin wrapped in a Pakistani Flag. I still remember when his body came back there was a beautiful Smile on his face. Shaheed zinda hota hai hum ny us Din iska nazara kia. He was a man with an amazing character.

Story goes back to 1944 when my maternal grandfather fought the Japanese in Indonesia, in 1945 he fought Germans in Netherlands for British Indian Army. He was from Rajputana Rifles that’s based in Agra today, at that time his unit was posted at Rawalpindi Cantt where my eldest mama was born. Later before retiring he fought against Pakistani Kabailis in 1948 Kashmir war. A funny incident he told was when they were having fun and light the holi bonfire the Kabailiyes came out of hiding behind the hill to surrender seeing smoke mistaking it for an attack. Fast forward 1999, my father in law sacrificed his life in Kargil. I never met him as I married in 2010. I feel my wife’s pain and get very sad thinking about how her family coped with it. My cousin(RajKumar Punia) and a close friends father(Mangej Singh) also sacrificed their life at Kargil. Sub Mangej Singh was in Saurabh Kalia’s backup party. Another uncle won Mahavir Chakra. He is the famous and deadly Naik Digendra Singh. My father too was in the army but didn’t see action as his unit was posted on border in Rajasthan. I know many other close relatives who fought the war. One had a bullet pierce his ear while landing from parachute. A full night jagaran was done by his family for his safety. I joined Indian military academy in 2005, seen action but took voluntary retirement in 2011. Came to US in early 2012, settled here. My children are US citizens not sure if they would carry the same love and pain for their parents motherland India. I have Pakistani friends here, I say to them. "MERE DUSHMAN, MERE BHAI". Salute and respect to all soldiers. We are all humans. Give up jingoism. Please feel the pain of the soldier’s families.

Because of higher number of casualties Pak army refused to brought back their own soldiers therefore Indian army buried them with full millitary honour ....

My father was the 2ic of 18 grenadiers, he buried 5 pakistani boys with his own hands and shed a tear or two while doing the same. He wears a bracelet with the 10 names of the men he lost from his paltan, below theirs are the names of those 5 young Pakistanis who gave their life's for their nation without asking a question. It's truly sad this reality of theirs.

From our side Capt Vikram Batra ( Shershahan ) of Indian army won Tiger hills. I was in my final year of Bsc still remember Vikram Batras word Yeh Dil maange more . So many mothers at our side lost their young sons. Vijayant Thapar, Capt Vikram, Arun Nayar, Manoj Pandey . The list is long . Bhagwan aap sabhi ko shanti de. We are safe here becoz of our soldiers who have laid their life in protecting Bharat mata . Dukh hein, Akrosh hein, why we have lost young souls. Kargil was a misadventure by four Generals ;Musharraf, Aziz, Mahmood and Javed In India they Court martialled and dismissed those officers who were slow to act but over here these culprits toppled the government
