*I used this for the first time on 10 white perch **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s a 22” Striper. Passed right through with easy. Very comfortable handle!*
I'm wondering what the different boning knife blade types are, flexible, semi flexible, nerow curved ect. Is ther a video about this victorinox knife, I'm a beginner in meat cutting properly. 🤔 Also do they ship the blades only in orginal cardbord boxes or in bubble wrap or similar packing, or are this fakes, I'm very confused specialy on some zone reviews, like knifes with broken tips ect shiped to them. I'm in the uk 🤔
I've seen better knives a lot cheaper! Victorinox don't have full tang on most of their knives, but charge higher prices than other knives with full tang and steel that's as good or sometimes even better. All I can say is shop around and read reviews, then decide if you really want to spend two or three times the money say a Bengoo knife will cost? Wallop and Mercer make great knives as well.
Breaking the handle isn't the issue! Half tang can come loose over the years and the blade then shifts in the handle. I'm just saying a quality knife most often had a full tang for that reason. That's why they cost more! Victorianox are good knives, just not built to the standards of others that you get what you pay for! Cheers😀
Where I live (Europe), Victorinox are the cheapest knives available, I can just pick them up at the supermarket. You're probably just paying for import taxes.
