As an actress she’s carried herself with dignity throughout her career! I remember in her times, people spoke of how she was the highest earner amongst the female actors & not her link-ups, shows where her priorities lied! One must also give credit to her for raising two beautiful kids, who dress & behave like kids & not being an over ambitious mom trying to turn her daughter into an young adult too soon, by dressing her up sensuously!
Raja Hindustan is her biggest hit! It was more like Rani Hindustan ☺️. She was the most loved actress loved internationally. Her eyes in those days and her energy. Miss the 90s😘
There are very few female actors which I'm a fan of and very few interviews which I actually look forward to watch, Karisma Kapoor is one of them, always loved her since my childhood.

It is so lovely to hear Karishma in a laid back interview. I used to love her work and didn't realise I actually miss watching her on screen but I do. I wish she'd do more work. But Rajeev: 1) Are you competing with anyone for an interruption award? And 2) Stop pressuring her to work. It's her decision.
Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! What a pleasure to see this amazing, beautiful and absolutely charming lady once again. Her facial expressions even today, can bring out the sun on a rainy day. The movies she acted in were just simply amazing. She shall always be my favourite. Wish her the best of everything in life!

Liked the interview. Karisma is not a wannabe. She also seems to be at peace with herself. And typical cancerian - kids come first for every cancerian, man or woman.

I have to say Karishma was a way better dancer than madhuri but was very underrated.. I mean look at dil toh pagal hai and all her songs from judwaa and all her hit songs she dances so gracefully WITH HEELS!

He's very loud & irritating... The way he laughs is like half laugh & half snort.. It's true... Controlling is an issue with him... I find him unbearable.. Host shouldn't be louder than guests... Quite illiterate & ill-mannered... Interrupting comes under bad manners... Should be changed...
Rajeev I am sorry I liked most of your interviews but this one is really infuriating. I understand that Karishma has come to tv series after a long time and your are excited but really constant interruption is not cool. I stopped watching the video midway.

Great interview. However, I would like to add that Kareena going back to work after 6 month-long maternal leave is great. Sets the bar for the Bollywood. But, she cannot say that sets the bar for ALL the women, Women in corporate jobs have been going back to work within 1-2 months of delivering a baby.
She has not set any bar. Malaika resumed work after less than six month and did the item song Kaal. Kajol, Aishwarya. Kajol's mother, Dimple and soooo many more. They know that but like to act as if that did not happen
L. M. Doing an item song is different from doing a movie. All the others took years to come back to work. Kareena is the only one who did a full fledge movie in 6 months after giving birth.
I think she's was an okay actress but man-when she dances, then it's her shining glory ! Effortless and graceful. And she's carried herself well after marriage and kids. I wish her good luck.

I think she was excellent in DIL TOH PAGAL HAI.. her body language her acting her every move in that movie was excellent to represent an urban professional dancer who is very true about her feelings like express love with Rahul (SRK) or express hate with Puja (Madhuri)...

She has an interesting, mature aura about her that I don't see in today's actors or even her contemporaries. I think it has to do with not being greedily ambitious like the rest. I like the fact that she doesn't like pressure and prefers to take her time to decide what she wants to do. She doesn't subscribe to the rat race and it's a huge relief just to see.

She's a class act - very well spoken and intelligent too. Never heard an interview of her before and I think I was expecting her to be a bimbo like some of the characters she portrayed in her earlier movies. But boy was I wrong! She is also so grounded - and doesn't seem to have the need to be a "star"

She's my all time favorite Bollywood actress and she's just so sophisticated, dignified and so soft-spoken. Also that scene beside the lake in DTPH wow I think that was the scene I started liking her. I thought SRK karisma made a better pair than SRK Madhuri in DTPH. Till date I feel like oh what a bad turn that movie took and how terrible for Karism'a character.
The thing I like about Kapoor sisters is they are just natural and even if on occasion they come across as snobbish- you damn very well know that they are atleast true to their feelings. There is something about Karishma that is so real n endearing that it's making me want to hear her more. You don't get that feeling when you hear today's actors talk.
Not all nepotism products are worse, Sanju Baba, Sunny Paji, Hrithik, Karishma and Kajol has proved themselves and has actually surpassed their parents in name and fame.

Aishwarya and Kajol weren’t on back set after 6 months. They took years to come back. Kareena delivered, lost weight and did a movie after giving birth in 6 months. No one has ever came back that fast.
Luvlaki yeah but comparing in terms of months is so unfair. Every woman goes through different complications during pregnancy and childbirth. How is someone’s talent equated with that?
