I personally think the Chanel Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2006 was a start of a shift in the house. The shows moved to the Grand Palau’s and Karl used this show to think about the future of fashion and technology. Models walked and stood on a large keyboard when they finished their walks. Not to mention there was so much much colorful outfits in the show. The finale dress on Gemma Ward was epic and was worn by than Chanel Ambassador, Mischa Barton on The OC.
I don't think that ANYONE but Karl L. could've managed the reins of a demanding Fashion Platform like the House of Chanel... 1. 92.."Testing the Waters with Metallics" 2. 97.."The Birth of Bold Saturation" 3. 2013.." Return to Scottish Roots" Karl Lagerfeld is sorely missed... but he will always be the "Sun" of Chanel...and a Design Icon and Legend in his own right...✌️😎💖
Def Chanel fall 2014 ready-to-wear is missing imo, it may be more “simple” but it is such a unique collection with some really iconic pieces like the 2 piece set with all the holes in it and all the iconic bags like the lait de coco etc
That long boucle dress from the haute couture 95 bridal dress!! Would so wear it for my own wedding & after that in spring with some chic but chill, modern but timeless strappy sandals for evenings, in day with a ripped baggy but not to baggy jeans & pair of satin pink or red, or Tabi's ballet flats , & for shopping afternoon with my daughter some low dunks J 1s or classic slip-on Vans Have a Lovely weekend LC team ✌🏻🌸 Correction: fall/winter
His shoes were a work of art. He wasn’t without scandal, but thus is the world. His artistic ability to create the entire scene is missing from the entirety of Chanel now. The quality and art is GONE. Such a shame.
None. Personally I can’t separate the Sri tidy from his work no matter how amazing it was. The man was a known bigot and doing a whole met theme on him when people know how controversial he was is baffling to me!
