I have this bag in black. The chain is substantial and it is very impressive to wear. Love the leather on it. I got mine at an outlet and for a Labor Day sale so at a great discount! Totally worth it.
Fun facts: Karl Lagerfeld, iconic designer created the design of the iconic classic Chanel flap bag in 1983. Not just the creative director of the Chanel brand once upon a time! The CC chanel symbol became popular under his leadership. Karl Lagerfeld brand is also a luxury brand. Under affordable luxury like Telfar, Ralph Lauren to name a few. He was also associated with Fendi.
I associate chanel with Karl more than coco to be honest hehe. So a Karl bag with the chain and leather strap with the twist lock .. i feel this bag is so valid.
I just got this bag in the 13” version on Poshmark, and was surprised that the back pocket, the flap and the bottom felt like they were lined with cardboard. Is that the standard with KL? I’ve never had a designer bag have that, feels a bit cheap. But the leather feels amazing!
I purchased one recently in the large size and I thought the same. Weird.. I also have the small size, like the one in the video and the flap doesn’t feel like cardboard at all.
