Not really, it wasnt in AC4, but in AC3 in every tavern, so I grew sick of it pretty quickly, since I played in taverns queen and some other mini games, and this song was played nonstop :D

Every time I hear the Parting Glass the lyrics make it seem to me someone is dying and saying their last goodbye at a big dinner being held in their honor because they're not going to make it, and instead of only being sad, it's also an occasion for joy and nostalgia.
