Hearing "The Fields of Ard Skellig" for the first time during my first playthrough was the moment I realized The Witcher 3 was the greatest game I had ever played and possibly will ever play.

the reason why skellig is so beautiful is that it's inspired by the scottish-vikings hebrides isles, the gaelic in this song is just perfect

I simply love how the phrase "My dear dolly Polly, shut your eyes" sounds more like a threat than a well-meant warning, which, considering who Orianna is, makes perfect sense 😁😏 I also like your rendition of The Wolven Storm better than the original, Karliene 😉👏

I'd recommend going from the beginning if you care for the game story. If you wanna understand all the references, I'd recommend reading the novels.

i started with Wild Hunt, and learned the lore through videos. there are many in depth story videos detailing the effects of the previous games on wild hunt, and the story in them too

I would avoid the first game, as its a little heavy and long, not really similar to the next two. So start with the second one. The books are like a prelude to the games, I would only read them if you liked the story of the games. I did read them all and played all the games btw
