as an optic fan i agree, coulda woulda shoulda. whoever comes out shootin and trading is winning. Cant go down 100 points and expect to win lol. No one was stopping faze sunday when simp was shooting nukes like that

I tell everybody this, this year the top 4 teams are just that competitive, nysl hasn’t looked great on lan, but I wouldn’t count them out either, hydra is is still hydra, sib is playing lights out this year, skys is sold and when kismet gets in the mode they’re a hard team to beat, honestly like you said it’s all about who is shooting, but I will say this, faze playstyle is what won them that major, optic relies on winning their ones to much, but faze almost always double challs, and uses teamwork, I said it before the major after optic beat nysl, if they lose it would be to faze because both their playstyles, im sure they’ll make adjustments, but regardless faze is a hard team to beat, GGs to your team, good luck next major, I would be anticipated that rematch.

He makes it sound like they played horrible because he KNOWS what they are capable of, and this grand final just wasn't it. Compared to what they are capable of, OpTic did play horrible. He's not giving them shit, he just know that they're capable of doing so much better.

Because he knows what they’re capable of, Optic has been one of the best if not the best in respawns, their only struggle was in s&d. It’s fazes playstyle, they buddy up and play trades, while optic likes to control the map, and win their ones.

When you're down as much as they were, you can't always afford to give up 30 on a hill and rotate, they needed atleast 40 seconds off every hill to win it. and they almost did it. if they don't go down 100 off the P2/P3 this map plays out completely different, and they play it different

Their biggest problems is trade, only way to beat a team like faze is to play them at their own game, their gonna 2v1 every fight, they don’t play for map control like that they try to bully you, and double chall everything, it’s not the rotation that killed optic, it’s about rotating together instead of trying to single chall when faze is in the buddy system majority of the time, also optic always stall playing obj, and focus on kills around the point instead of soaking, all those 5 and 10 white time adds up.

id rather listen to karma who actually played and knows wtf is going on, somebody who actually won 3 rings, to listen to your nonsense.

I’m optic fan and I agree, as much as I hate faze and their playstyle, they simply play as a team and rely on each other, while optic just one challs everything and try to win off raw skill, I do think this is wake up call, I also think we beat ultra so easy because of the maps and envoy performance, I do think we still would’ve won, but faze and ultra are the best at buddy system, trading and switching and baiting, only way beat those teams is to play their style of game

They’re obviously better but there were a few maps here and there that were split because of small and major plays by Faze. COD is super momentum based. A win here or there can change the trajectory of a series. It was faze’s tourney to lose
