During the final days of this year’s Karmapa Public Course at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute (KIBI), the participants continued to receive Dharma teachings from Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, His Eminence Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, Venerable Lama Jampa Thaye, and Venerable Khenpo Lobsang.
The afternoon of the last day started with an extensive mandala offering, as well as the symbolic offering of the enlightened aspects of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activity (Tibetan: ku, sung, thug, yonten, trinley) to Karmapa.
Karmapa then bestowed the empowerment of Vajra Vidarana (Tibetan: Namjom) to the assembled practitioners, once again taking ample time to explain the various stages of the ritual.
