Ian Kenny -- Vocals Andrew "Drew" Goddard -- Lead Guitar Mark Hosking -- Guitar Jon Stockman - Bass Steve Judd - Drums Karnivool is a five-piece music group from Perth, Western Australia. Their music style is a combination of melodic progressive rock and alternative rock, with alternative metal influences. Formed in 1998, Karnivool have since released several singles and one EP, and most recently their debut album Themata. Their new album, Sound Awake, was released in June, 2009 to critical acclaim.

Honestly I've heard the comparison to tool so many times and i never hear it. They always just sound like karnivool to me and no one else
