Anubhav you are a treasure - but you already know that! I grew up in New Rajinder Nagar so this is such a nostalgic food walk for me. All my reference points for how certain dishes should taste like - chhole bhature, gol gappe, and of course kulfi falooda come from Karol Bagh. Love this so much! My family has been going to Roshan di Kulfi and Roopak for over 40 years - not too many know that they are the same family as the famous MDH - such warm owners and the spices are top notch! The chutney the chat guys serve with their aloo tikki is superb - I've never been able to find anything like it.

Aap, Anubhav Ji.🙏 Rajinder Nagar market meh Khabhi fir seh mauka mile toh Kishan ka chole bature bhi chak ke deekhna. 😊 The chole is totally different than the other one around Delhi. Khabi pahar ganj ke gol chakkar ke paas khasta sarso ke tel meh taiyaar ki gayi heeng ki kachori miltih thi. 1970 aur 80s ka kissa hai. 😂

Our Sunday breakfast used to be choley bhature from standard sweets. Still remember we used to get it in cane basket wrapped with newspaper and tied with a thick cotton thread with gajar achaar❤ childhood memories... Cant forget the pista burfee and pinni
