Just some context. Karol G wrote this song about her ex Anuel after she collaborated on Becky G's song Mamiii (sparked her creativity), which basically bashed men that dump women. After Karol G finished writing this song, she saw what Shakira was going through with Pique, so she asked if she wanted to be part of it. Shakira rewrote some verses and the rest is history.
