I think you only run Cartographers Hawk in a mono White or Boros type of deck. If you're running green then you're most likely always going to put yourself ahead of your opponents in lands which makes the Hawk useless.

I once lost to my own Karona. What happened was I leaned to heavily on Teferi's Moat and completely tapped out, with Constant Mist in hand, and one my opponents removed the moat and then each swung Karona at me!

A Naya deck is probably not the best place to see how good a Cartographer's Hawk can be, when you've got access to Green ramp as well...

Do you run any Goad spells? Like that new legendary creature Marisi that Goads all creatures your opponents control. You could also run Saskia. She's nasty. That would allow you to deal tons of damage while sitting back and watching your opponents kill eachother to death lol

I’ve never thought of building her this way! I’ve been using the goaded enchants in my zedru deck though. So much fun

I agree I think they made cartographers hawk bad out of fear they were gonna make it too strong I got it to play in mono white decks but the more I have looked at it the more I just don’t think it’s good enough it’s so slow and unreliable also great game
