yes exactly, and if you watch the match overall you can notice how badly karrigan got outplayed by aleksi. Litterally every singe round aleksi made the right call. Karrigan got absolutely outsmarted

@@baumann9551 how’d he get outplayed ? Watch the minimap then watch the time remaining, they litterally went into straight execs and explodes without having control on the map. Don’t know what the fuck got into them but they outplayed themselves. Tier 1 inferno meta has been to take brackets+banana, force rotations, bait out some util and exec into the weaker site. All teams do that, faze included, but for god knows what reason they didn’t do it once this game. Literally makes no sense

@@baumann9551 that’s my entire point, if the enemy team isn’t pressuring anywhere and just tries to go straight to one of the sites its pretty easy to have people rotate there in due time lol. Just try and watch a pov from the game against vitality and you’ll see they played a different game. I honestly don’t know what the game plan/prep was for this map but it looked poor, especially for their standards.

@@forsenstunlocked5967 In my opinion you are 100% correct, karrigan and the whole team in general was off, not playing really well, I think Navi won the inferno more because of Faze's mistakes than because of his gameplay. And with all the pressure it's hard to stay motivated when you're down 10 rounds.

watched the video, and most deaths are selfless sacrifices, the rest of the team was unable convert into rounds, some are impossible 1vX situations, where as IGL u might already think about the next round... As IGL you try to put your stars into advantageous positions, leading to karrigan often beeing the last covering the weaker site on CT, hard entrying to enable trades, or supporting with utility. 1-15 for one player doesnt paint the whole picture, NaVi just was able to exploit almost every chance they got from FAZE

he choked a couple of gunfights but as an igl you can say oh well thats not his job. What is his job however is making the right calls... He didn't do that either. Aleksi completely outplayed him every single round without fail. The rounds that faze won on the map were litteraly just chokes from navi, even though they made the right calls those rounds

@@baumann9551 If some of the Faze players don't die before the strats are executed the entire scenario could have played out differently on their T side. You'll notice a few of the rounds his team are picked off and then he's also trying to entry. As an IGL you can make the right calls all day long but if your star players aren't shooting the calls don't really matter.

So I did count: 1 risky play (pushing long smoke. Not a real mistake, more a sign of a good risk reward system) 2 whiffed fights (ct pistol and the fight from a short to moto lurking) All the rest is just unlucky or in other words: Navi shot extremely hard. This happens on pro level. Even zywoo had a 3 kill overpass map a year or two back. Karrigan has all the bitch roles and creates so much space for his team (while calling), it's just sad for him to have this happen in front of the home crowd. He is still the goat IGL besides glaive.

Kerrigan got way too cocky on the first map before this and when he started to not perform here it looks like the nervousness hit like a truck. I don’t think the reason he played bad here was that he is getting older like top comment just realize he made himself look like a fool.

5:15 is probably the only example where its clear he was a bit off other than a few desperation pushes he just got bodied its crazy how much confidence or the lack of influences a game but on the other hand not too suprising considering that the mechanical level of pros is overall pretty close

Simplemente fue outplayeado en este mapa en particular, no le supo encontrar la vuelta, así como NaVi no se lo encontro al mapa de Mirage, que fue estompeada de Faze

@@Tacooh_ I am agree with that. I know that the pro players has good days and bad days. However I think that the reasons why he got a bag match in inferno are: He believed that he is the entry fragger of the team and all the rounds that he did that role, they killed him. He whiffly some bullets in many rounds that had opportunities to get kills (for example, the fifth round 1:27). And this it was a mistake of him but in some rounds the navi players has just good timing to get kills and to killed him.

there was one really embarassing miss there but it was in a 1v4 with no bomb so even if he didnt botch the kill he wouldn't have won the round. the rest of the rounds he's taking the info entry role and just getting countered every time. it's just one of those games where there really isn't much he could do.

I'm a Faze fan, not the biggest Karrigan tho. It's fact that overall this grand final is just Navi destined to win it and a collective throw from Ancient veto from Faze. However, Karrigan's CS legacy and also for what he has done this entire Major (his best personal performance in tier 1) aren't tainted by your slanders. I hope karma comes around for the video creator and the hate commenters here for whatever you guys strive for 👌🏻

Globaly about Kerr he is very good n exp player but what I saw in my opinion me on my clean 19- 20K gameplay playin stronger. his crosshair placement n moves like master guardian or bit higher. no I would say he looks like supreme or low global rank

I do not know why players like Karrigan and Hooxi are still kept in esports... Open the statistics of the top 50 players on HLTV for 2021, 22, 23, 24, they both always close this list with KD 0.7.. Yes, they are captains, but there are a bunch of teams where the captains have KD 1-1.2 FAZE, like G2, has only one problem, 4 outstanding shooters and one mediocre!
