@@malachitie8279 I say I mained both cassiopeia and kassadin at the same time because I did, I chose either depending on which I was fighting. Cassio into xer is pretty terrible but kassadin into xer makes me so happy

Fun fact, Karthus’ E was changed back in 10.14 to always restore mana even if toggled on. They reduced the mana restored in later patches to compensate. Same patch they made it tick every 0.25s as well (twas a massive karthus buff)
Ok listen up because I have my own little Karthus ult story, no proof though since I'm not sure I clipped it: It was around the time that Karthus jungle was becoming a thing and Graves and Pantheon recently got reworked so....season 6 or 7? I was full build, me and Pantheon had to defend vs 5 man at our nexus turrets, he was kind enough to engage/peel for me, so I found a window to fight, we got them kinda low before we both died, but I died in Graves W so I couldn't see anything. My team spam pinged my R so I pressed it and I got a peta without even seeing what I did. I don't even remember if we won that game or not but iirc my team just ended the game after that because late game respawn timers used to be around 70 seconds back then lmao 😂

Shadow flame will not deal extra damage if the enemy is dead. Needlessly large rod will deal more damage than 1100 gold into the bust thing with less ap. Leaving the item that is built from 400 gold components for later means you will always have something to buy instead of buying it first and then needing money for the roddest rod.
Pretty sure he never really runs out af mana with just malignance lol. Especially with bluebuff on your entire team from 20 minutes. And AH is only really big for ult i think since the q's are basically faster than AA's

I don't think it's actually better, but man, I can never resist going the hypercarry build with this guy. ROA+Seraph's+Rift is such a hilarious and cruel combo once you've got E max'd.
Mana items aren't actually necessary if you're halfway decent at landing Q and managing mana. Lane Karthus can be such an aggressive early game lane bully in a lot of matchups, and going Aery/Manaflow/Scorch with the usual Presence of Mind/Last Stand plays to that strength really well. Rush Sorcerer's Shoes if you have enough gold on first base, otherwise Shadowflame or Liandry's rush into whichever you didn't pick first is the gold standard for snowballing. You'll be shocked at how reliably you can dominate the lane. If you really wanna up the aggro, you can can run Exhaust/Ignite, though I prefer Flash/Exhaust in most cases or sometimes Flash/Teleport if kill pressure on either side is low.
@@shenpai1566 Pekin himself pointed out that Karthus Q isn't quick/big enough to be reliable. 'Long range, somewhat safe, good reward, but high cost and unreliable' is the exact kind of ability that benefits most from having extra mana, since you can directly translate it to damage opportunities or quicker pushing (especially important when Karthus can be so damn weak in lane, quicker pushing = preventing dives and/or punishing roams better). Aside from that, it's not like mana is the only upside of that build; those three together is like the best survivability/dps combo you can possibly get 'cus they all feed into each other. It's for sure a hit in the early game compared to Malignance or Shadowflame but once you get to two items it evens out, and at 3 a Karthus with those three is basically unstoppable, never mind the mana, the sheer damage + tankiness is a nightmare. I definitely think it's the better build *IF* you're gonna be in pure farm mode until 2+ items anyway.
Were u duoqueuing with heimer or why does it say [Party] when heimerdinger wrote? (like 13:42). i wouldnt judge but it would be weird if u dont say it upfront cuz i think most people assume you play alone and nobody tries funneling you or other stuff.
My guess is some sort of bug. He’s always been upfront about when he’s duoing. It also only seems to happen that one time when heimer pings Nami amp tome. Maybe Nami and heimer in a party and riot ui glitched out or something?
Maybe Riot has it so when people accidentally tab to party it still shows? I've seen this on stream before but normally I notice it when my teammates are pinging alive and it isn't supposed to show me. I think last stand should be situational on karthus with coup being the other option. When karth is the main carry, every kill is massive on him and coup secures kill in the first ults. Like in the second game, skarner dies from your first r with coup

I don't play karthus much and I'm lower elo but why did you opt not to take exhaust in the second game? against nilah akali kayn i would have thought it'd be the best option
YT encodes the lower res' first. If you find a new upload without higher resolutions available, It's likely that they're on their way. Waiting a minute and refreshing is a consistent fix for this in the future, too.
My favorite multi-kill was definitely a Quadra from one Teemo shroom. I placed it in the bush between blue side inner turret and raptors; the enemy team retreated after a push and four of them all went through when it popped, lol.
