Just had to stop the video in between to thank you for this video...having watched Capeta since childhood and being a big fan of it!! i'm really happy that you covered this motorsport in so much detail!! never seen any other video like this!! Kudos PowerDrift!!
I have grown watching capeta ,and wanted to be a racer, thank u pd for sharing this and I will sure support the sport,u got me into my childhood memories, and a big 👍 for BPC racing....
Rotax isn't the top level of kart racing... They're popular, but KZ1 and KZ2 are the top level of kart racing. He's vastly overestimating how fast rotax karts are and their driving difficulty as well. Rotax karts are not anywhere near as difficult or tiring to race as he's making them out to be. Also, I've never heard of BPC karts. This is obviously a heavily sponsored deal. The biggest kart chassis manufacturers (that actually win internationally) are CRG, Birel ART, Sodi, DR Kart, Tony Kart, Intrepid, Kosmic, and Praga (and probably some others that I'm forgetting). Anyway, don't mean to sound negative/condescending but it's just a little frustrating as someone who actually races rotax karts to hear some of the stuff he's saying.
Hey Liam, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Yes we do agree that there are other levels of karting which are above Rotax but here in India, Rotax is the premier level. BPC is a racing team rather than a kart manufacturer and yes they did sponsor a drive in their Indian championship winning kart. Motorsports is at a very nascent stage in India and access to higher categories is quite challenging.
Ah, I see now that the karts are actually Fernando Alonso and Tony Kart chassis that are rebranded with "BPC Racing" stickers. Also I did not realize that motorsports are at such a young stage in India. Thanks for clearing that up. Somewhat off topic, but I also wanted to add to my original statement that it is misleading when the driver in the video says that you can only brake in a straight line on those karts. The truth is that to be truly fast in those karts you have to simply learn to "finesse" the brakes right so you don't lock up/bog the engine (not only brake in a straight line to make it easier to not lock up) and then begin to use trail braking to brake later and get more rotation into the corner.
Gave me goosebumps!! The best team out there to support and help you to wake up the real racer in you!! Proud to be a part of #TeamBPCRacing Thanks to PowerDrift for the video!
#SupportTheSport #Powerdrift#Pdarmy Tricky machine but cool to drive Lots of go-karting People going to love it thanks for sharing Love for go-karting and Powerdrift

I went 10 laps with a go-kart in Goa, and although they felt more like 5 in terms of time and 15 in terms of energy and involvement, it was one heck of an experience.
Very great thought from PowerDrift. Doing your part for the motorsports is what every motorsport enthusiast should do. Like we should appreciate your work. Also, a great thanks for BPC racing to help PowerDrift to make this awesome video. Please work more on this

Shivam Go to the FMSCI website. Go to Rotax / Rotax Max ( not sure what it is now ) tab and see their requirements. You may require a crew but FMSCI has a representative Motorsport club in every city/town with a racetrack so get in touch with the closest club to you. Chennai , Coimbatore , Bangalore , Hyderabad , Kolhapur , Goa and Noida are the tracks I know of. Just check as quickly as possible because I think the season starts somewhere around now.
Motorsports must be given national importance, support and encouragement. India has an unprecedented amount of talent in motorsports if given the opportunity and platform.
You should also check out formula student competitions like Formula Bharat(conducted at Kari Motor Speedway-Jan every year) and SAE SUPRA(held at Buddha International Circuit-26 June 2017)
Powerdrift guys you are really doing a great job reviewing a hardcore sport machine...I am an enineering student and also a participant in SAE BAJA..which takes place at Indore Why dont you come over there and review the competition just as Autocar have done, but just with the Powerdrift touch..😜

Wow! what a video. As always you guys never fail to impress!. This is something very useful for us as we are participating in NKRC this year. Would be great if I get a chance to test and experience the karts and get to know what it actually takes to build and drive one. 👍
Apurva Rokkad Get Your steering angles and Ackerman linkages right and maintain the Kart chassis-frame below 16 Kgs. You'll have a great Go Kart. Are you free to use a different engine or is it the B&S engine ?

rushikesh dongre There's no professional Go Karting in Pune as per my knowledge. There's only fun/leisure go karting in Pune. Closest racetrack is in Kolhapur.
Hi pd i am 17yrs , and i am very interested in formual racing... but i dnt know frm whr should i strt and wt all documentation is required 😐😐😀 -- Sumeet .
How much investment is needed to take this up as a career?Like i never knew Motorsports has advanced so much in India they should make it more viable for the general public for it to grow more and also get the Formula1 races back to the BIC and have a Indian GP on the Calendar
You should check out with good racing schools like Team BPC racing for more about developing a careern car racing. :) They can give proper information and guidance. :)
