It's crazy how Karue took all this time off, and randomly starts playing tour tennis again and in 1 year, is better than he ever was before. He is starting to look like a promising top 100 player. Extreme solid groundstrikes, and he make it look very effortless on both wings.
@@Bhaise for sure, but his classical results went through the roof after he started streaming. the dude is literally only second to Magnus in classical ratings right now. the second best player in the world - only behind the goat
This just keeps getting better and better. Insanely good performance. Karue was mentally fully immersed in the game. After the 1:3 in the first set, Karue continued to play with concentration and focus. His returns were great, always close to the line where the opponent wasn't standing and waiting. The opponent always had to take one or two steps to the ball and couldn't put pressure on Karue right from the start. Did everybode see how precise and consistent his serve was? He had a very high percentage of first services. The ball toss is now between 11 and 12 o'clock, which is what I have always said in recent games. He readjusted it. A good and consistent serve gives you breathing room and security in the game. I could see the absolute will in his eyes. He was on fire and radiated absolute determination in every rally. Rocha felt “Karue is the man on the field”. This robs the opponent self-confidence and mental energy. I was so curious to see what would happen at the start of the second set. In the past games, Karue sometimes had a mental slack and made a lot of simple mistakes and quickly fell behind. But not this time. That was awesome, I'm so happy for him. After the first break in the second set came the fist. A stab at the opponent's self-confidence. After the 2-0 in the second set, there was a short break because Rocha was not ready. Karue walked in circles to stay focused and concentrated and not drift away from the game mentally. At 3-0 in the second set, Karue broke Rocha mentally. Rocha's body tension conveyed disappointment. Then there were a few rallies where Rocha tried to apply pressure with his forehand, but Karue defended very well, patiently and calmly, until Rocha played a weaker ball that wasn't so powerful and Karue then took the initiative himself and let Rocha run from left to right . That was so much fun as supporter of Karue. That was top 100 level. Maybe a little more power on the forehand would help Karue to get control earlier in der rally. Karue is so talented. I agree with Tennis Unleashed where he made suggestions for improvement regarding Karue's forehand. I'm already looking forward to the next game.
Yes, he simply positions to the ball and swings through because he just feels the ball. Andre Agassi was a player like that. Other players have to work hard at tennis, invest a lot to gain control of the ball. With talented players, it just comes naturally, which is why everything looks so easy and smooth.
A few more thoughts about the game. Did you notice that the cameras only showed Karue during the breaks? Karue has charisma and is a guy with personality. The organizers are realizing more and more that something is growing and that Karue is becoming a crowd puller. The focus on him is increasing and more and more people are realizing that he is not just a good RU-vidr, but a much better, professional tennis player. Karue, I know you're reading this. Of course everyone has to earn money to be able to pay their bills, but what could be nicer than inspiring other people emotionally, when they clap and cheer for you. I wouldn't trade this feeling for any money in the world. Take the spectators and your supporters on an emotional journey on the field. If you create euphoria with your tennis, the interest in you will be immense. Keep going.
Good observations. I hope he can qualify for a slam next year. The media would be all over his story. I hope Osaka gives a shout out to her former practice partner.
As soon as sell notices opponents weakness (backhand) bagel was secured. You can see how relaxed he was when he found his opponent’s kryptonite. Congrats!
This match could be a turning point of confidence for karue. Not that he doesnt have it, but he is bageling guys in the top 200, hitting backhands and backhand returns within inches from the line consistently (honestly similiar to Novak). The guy is a train right now and I think the coals just started heating up. Great win tonight
@ST-ek6lf really? Karues two handed backhand and defensive backhand game remind me alot of Djokers. Kind of pushes it sometimes with such accuracy and has the power to rip it like a forehand. I think Karues serve is more like federer in terms of placement but his serve and forehand are nowhere near as devastating as Feds was. I think his backhand side is way closer to Djokers at top level compared the the other strokes of Federer
There was this video on thins Karue could improve on by a high level ATP coach, and it looks like Karue may have implemented the guy's recommendations as far as having a stronger tip flick on the forehand, love how Karue keeps getting better. Vamos!
@@Itskarue Sorry for the assumption, it was this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WR5nQX7pvQQ.html. You're an inspiration, wishing you a great finish to the season and an incredible 2025!
@@Itskarue The fact that Karue goes through randon YT comments never ceases to entertain me. Obviously the tour idle time helps. Pra cima amanhã caraio! Vamo!!!
Rocha didn’t look like he was playing his best (that’s tennis), but he was still completely outclassed by karue. Way too good, not many unforced errors. Camera man putting the camera right in karue’s face (and only on him) on changeovers was funny though😂
