I luv my Kasa TP Link Smart plugs, I use one of them for my 8,000 BTU Air Conditioner, on my way home from work I go in my Kasa app an turn on my Air Conditioner it works Flawlessly an it turns On/Off Instantly! Definitely Recommended these Kasa TP Link Smart Plugs!

Thanks for your great review. Looking at buying the 2 pack to replace my older WEMO. Wemo was set with BELKIN cameras - BELKIN shut down years ago but kept the WEMO program. Been having reset issues so time to find a more reliable system. This seems to be the winner.

Someone on a FB user group told me that he used this plug to reboot his router. He cannot find the video that told him how to set this up. I don't know if my smart phone would be used to run a routine independent of wifi from my router or if the plug retained the routine and and ran it while my router was off. Can you explain how to accomplish this?

There is no info on controlling the Kasa EP 10 via Google Home as you mentioned in the intro. Is there another video that shows how to do that?

does this need to be connected to the internet all the time for the timer to function correctly? or could you set the timer you want (after connecting it to the Wifi), and then making the smart plug go offline

Hi, anyone having issues with the smart plug mini disappearing after setting up? I’ve done setup 5 times and it immediately disappeared within a minute. I’ve even removed my 5ghz WiFi from router to remove networking issues. Thx

That requires a smart light bulb. This device can only turn on and off devices.

I don't think you showed how the Kasa is moved from its internal setup Wi-Fi SSID to your home network. Once it is on your home network, it doesn't matter how close your phone is to the plug. All that matters is how close the plug is to your Wi-Fi radio and what kind of connectivity your phone has to your home network.

It only allows three smart actions which sucks. I want it to go on and off twice per day but since the on is one action, you are limited to one per day. Bad.

This will NOT work with a 5G network. Only works with 2.4G

No useful information. Important to know that it may take few MINUTES for the phone to recognize the switch and then more time to get on the wifi etc. Once you are aware of the fact that you may need to leave for 5 minutes and come back later- it works fine.
