This is a really good example of why English is such good language for pop and rock. Lots of short words that rhyme and tell a story and give a vibe. Only one word with three syllables. Chapeau (whoops, that's French).

A few years ago I refused to listen to anything but Kasabian, day at night. Then I kind of had enough bc I listened to them wayyy too often 😂 I can't believe I forgot about them, now I'm totally hooked again, probs gonna spend the next 2 years only listening to their awesome songs again until I'll have enough 😅

This song sounds familiar - like I'd heard it on the radio charts when I was younger... and yet apparently its new. Considering my opinion of current radio charts music, the above is a pretty big compliment!

Just saw Kasabian last night, at the Isle of Wight festival and they were brilliant- I’d always heard they were great live and they didn’t disappoint. Excellent stuff, guys! 👊🏻

ya need to listen to their albums in reverse; sounds like a band growing up rather than going backwards. I'm not saying this stuff is bad, I actually really like it but their older stuff (empire in particular) will always be the true kasabian sound to me.
