And he is one of the few people that can genuinely understand Sukuna, got to hear his philosophy and called it bullshit because he didn't want something so vapid. He genuinely beat Sukuna in a way nobody else in the series actually did : he called him out on his bullshit worldview from a place of understanding

I loved kashimo character and from the way gege was taking his character I knew gojo was never going to beat sukuna because kashimo character arc wouldn’t have been completed if he did
@@nubraofficial2345 If Sukuna lost,and Kenjaku said that he stood no chance against him, I don't see why Gojo wouldn't just no diff him afterwords. Unless somehow both Gojo and Sukuna died and then everyone would need to team up on Kenjaku.
@superomnia Knowing Kenjaku, I wouldn't even be shocked if we somehow got the reveal that he was bullshitting when he said that to Gojo and actually had a plan to do it if he ever won against Sukuna. That's not what happened, but now that I think about it, it's not that improbable

Think another thing is that both Gojo and Kashimo were trying to reach sukuna since he truly understood what it means to be the strongest and Kashimo asked sukuna why being the strongest is so isolating

Nah, he was JUST as strong in a sense. If kashimo really wanted to, he could’ve gone into his “ultimate form” and had probably beaten hakari. Instead, he chose to save it for sukuna. Also, kashimo granted hakari permission to kill him, having given up. But if he really wanted to he would’ve killed hakari at the end of the battle.
Kashimo is probably my favorite character and I don't know why. He was the one who forced sukuna to reincarnate, so he's waaaaaay stronger than people think.

Nah, man. He wasn't just handed the title. He had fights in his time, but his opponents just weren't on the highest level, let alone on his level. It's not like he just signed up and was given the belt without putting in any work.
@@Pbcvl By awakening. Kashimo is basically Gojo if he never had a Toji. If it weren't for Toji, Gojo would be significantly weaker by the time the main story starts.
I genuinely really enjoyed kashimo's character arc, regardless of how minimal it was. As the strongest of his era, he experienced the loneliness that came with absolute strength just how gojo and sukuna did, but I reckon his was worse. He was lonely in every sense. Not once do we see him surrounded by anyone other than himself unlike sukuna and gojo, who found their respective people. He's brought into the modern age of jujutsu where there are those who can actually bring kashimo a challenge, and when given the opportunity to fight sukuna, he saw it as a chance to gain closure, to ask the absolute pinnacle of jujutsu in every aspect just how he went through his respective era and how he managed to cope with his loneliness. He happily passed on getting that closure which is really nice, especially since he now no longer carries that burden of being the strongest.
@Albertgaming- same, but it would just be annoying arguing with people who claim otherwise. But without Gojo and Sukuna, Kashimo is surely the honoured one
@kanemccarthy1979 I say that he is stronger then Yuta bc it's not yet confirmed but Yuta said that Hakari on his jackpot mode was stronger then him so if that's true then Kashimo is stronger and another way Kahsimo can win if he uses his move that blew Hakaris arm but only if it hits Yutas head and Kashimo is the honored one
I still love the way people back then keep on saying "wait till kashimo" "kashimo vs sukuna will be legendary" or sumn, and then gege simply made him got obeliterated in less than 2 chapters
Kashimo is essentially in the same boat as saitama from one punch no opponents strong enough to give him a challenge but eventually kashimo got his wish.
I respect the outcome of the fight. i just wished the fight could have been longer for kashimo to show off more of his cursed technique because it felt like he didnt show off everything before he got waffled.
