Superb informative video Srinagar pahalgsm route u should have visit the famous Marthanda ☀️sun temple (mostly ruined now) Otherwise covered all places.. Pl share dal lake house boat details ifbu can ghst number 17

Heritage group of houseboat - Son of India houseboat Cost 4000 incl. breakfast and dinner It was neat and clean, had no foul smell, people were also cooperative, avoid buying anything like kesar or kahwa from here👍🏻

Do you get Taxi from Gulmarg to Sonmarg easily in Gulmarg? Do you get Taxi from Sonmarg to Pahalgam in Sonmarg easily? Do you get Taxi from Pahalgam to Srinagar in Pahalgam easily?

Taxis are available from one place to other but it is preferable if you have same taxi for entire journey.

Did you book a cab at Srinagar with a fixed price at Rs.2000 per day to transport you to Gulmarg, Sonmarg, Pahalgam and back? Or you booked each cab separately at each specific places?

Taking a union cab is compulsory, not sure if renting a bike is an option there.

We are leaving next week for 7 days. One local we spoke to, said Songar’s isn’t that great hence May be skipped. Also is it ok to cover Pahalgam (Abc valleys and baisanwara) in one entire day only or do I need to give it two days? Do we need to stay at Gulmarg if there are ample places to visit or things to do or should we return to Srinagar ?

We booked a prepaid cab from Srinagar which was with us on our entire trip. As far as we have seen, cabs are available to travel from pahalgam but I am not sure if that applies to Gulmarg and sonamarg. Thankyou☺️

Snow boots, gloves, winter jacket rent pe mil jate hai, would suggest not to carry extra weight.

Snow boots, jacket and gloves are available for rent at all 3 places but I think it will only be needed in Gulmarg. Gondola and phase 1 is safe but the air at phase 2 will get thin, so be careful of those while travelling with elders👍🏻

Generally UPI kaam karta hai Har jagah lekin shikara ride, snow activities aur horse ride jaisi Kuch Aur activities ke liye cash hi chahiye hoga. Airtel postpaid ekdam Sahi kaam kar raha tha lekin prepaid sim kaam nahi karega.

We visited Kashmir in 2023, rates are tend to change gradually and so chances are there won’t be any cabs available for 2000 per day.

There are some changes in the booking process. Tickets can only be booked on 15th and 30th of every month at 6pm🫤

Sorry for the late reply, kashmir is mostly covered in a good amount of snow in december and it will be nothing less than a wonderland, the temperatures will be below 0 degrees, and you might face issues while travelling if the roads get blocked due to heavy snowfall.

Package se jaa rahe hai toh koshish kare Khud se use customise kare and agar hotel booking aur transportation khud se manage kar sakte hai to own arrangement se Jana better hai. Package cost ho sakta hai kam lage lekin usme Kuch negative feedbacks hote hi hai👍🏻
