The trailer seems to tell the world the true story of the Kashmiri Hindu Exodus. I will explain, narrate and review different scenes of this trailer.

I am a Kashmiri Pandit and a grandfather. What the trailer and Mr. Razdan say in the video is 100 percent correct. We have suffered because we are Hindus and have been loyal to our country all our lives. Being an educated and hardworking community, we are surviving despite a complete lack of help from Government agencies. Hope the nationalists in the country understand the dangers of the Islamist terrorism that is eating into the national narrative.

We can't even imagine ur pain. We empathize today with you, & regret for the failure to recognize this reality all these years. I had heard about it as a young student and even as a grown up adult - had met and spoken to one such Kashmiri Pandit family who had fled away, but never sensed the severity and pathos of these incidents. I am a great grand daughter of Kashmiri Pandits, although we never faced the insurgency of 90s however they faced similar traumas 4 decades earlier in 47. So when I saw the trailer I broke down because of the many times people of my background had to get up, leave and move and start over so they can continue to freely practice their religion and have the freedom to choose their identities. My great grandparents were from Kotli bagh, now in POK, and although I never saw Kashmir or have any connections to it other than my surname and family history, it's my mission in life to one day be economically successful` enough that I can go back to that area and see what kind of life they lived and pay homage to them, and continue the legacy of many kashmiri pandits through having kids of my own or through my success. Thank you so much for being so open and honest about your experience. 🙏🏼

Please don’t call them militant they are terrorist. They have caused terror in Kashmir since 1990. I am Kashmiri Hindu and I don’t think it’s appropriate to call them militant. Don’t give them any sort of respect. 🙏🏻. These events are so fresh in my Mind. I still get PTSD after 32 years. I was 14 when I left kashmir on Jan 20th, 1990 in a Taxi and car driven by Muslim. It was such a horrifying journey from Kashmir to Jammu that we didn’t believe we will reach Jammu. I live in USA from past 22 years and When 9/11 happened I felt the same trauma again. Got my PTSD back. Sad 😔. They are everywhere now terrorizing everyone. 🙏🏻🕉🕉🙏🏻.

I remember as a kid and youth in 1970s and 80s, my dad's colleague a Kashmiri Pandit living in Maharashtra. After uncle retired and went back to Kashmir the entire family was wiped out in one such night. The uncle was a class 1 gazetted officer in the GOI. I totally relate to the fact that is shown here. Terrible tragedy that Indian Government at the time did absolutely nothing.

Can't stop my tears rolling out😥. I was a small child that time. Remember all the things which you shared. Stone pelting, night curfews,breaking of our glass window panes every now and then. This movie has brought back the memories n pain we the Kashmiri Pandits had gone through. I myself gone through the trauma of being Kashmiri in my own country and forgotten. All kids lots childhood due to the terror. However after all the troubles we Kashmiri Pandits gone through, we never gone against law of country, instead we focused on uplifting our family n children’s with better education n humanity. 🙏

This is etched in our memories. In Kashmir no Hindu family could have glass windows, it took me a long time in Jammu to understand how can Hindu households have glass windows. Emotional trauma rendered by us as a community goes deep. Our parents who took the brunt of this and had the responsibility to take care of 2 generations. The struggles our parents had to endure is beyond any word in the world can express. We were termed as migrants not refugees, as if we left our homes for a picnic in search of a greener pasture. That was the bigotry of Central government. Our media failed to highlight our plight. Inspite of all the atrocities, our focus was only on REBUILDING Ourselves.

When i saw the Molotov cocktails being used in Ukraine, it took me back to my childhood memories. I have seen these cocktail/petrol bombs being thrown just outside our house. Also those slogans "Narie takbir, Allah ho Akbar" still echo's in my ears. Although very young at that time and unable to understand what is happening around. It contains a lot of painful memories, it is like an old scar now. Whenever i remember that, it only brings backs painful memories.

I used to live in Gwalior (MP) and I was 8 when it was happened and we used to live in a building where a family of 3, mother and 2 daughters 11 years and 7 years shifted from Kashmir, and we had no idea what they had gone through but my mom understood that the family looks in trouble as they had no cloths no things and she told my mother about it and their son who was 17 was no more (killed by Mujahideen) and Father was in Delhi to get some help so they can bring their luggage back. A week later their father came back in despair, meanwhile we helped them accommodation, food, water, and rest of the things. They started building their lives again from zero, and now they are successful businessmen, both the daughters were very sharp in studies and the younger one went to IIM and now they are all settled in US and doing good. But the damage was on that industrial scale that I came to know later around 2000 when the younger daughter one day told me everything when I asked why did you came like that and how her brother died. But because of those people I could understand the pain and suffering of Kashmiri Hindus and Sikhs and impotence of our Judiciary, Constitution and Administration they are nothing but bunch of selfish cowards who need to be kicked off.

I can imagine how the movie 's trailor could have awaken the injustice that happened in your childhood. While watching the trailor, you had flashes of old incident s those happened in front of you. Such movies where we can identify ourselves, could be heart wrenching too. I m from odisha, was in college those days, one day we were discussing how distressing is it to leave home for sake of life and run away. What impotent govt doing. That time only i learnt, i cannot buy a piece of land there even if it's my country, while i can buy anywhere else. Not sure when the curse of gazwa will be eradicated, will wait with all hopes that day to be tomorrow.
