@@LoveLaughExplore working in getting some solar sponsors cause I agree that’s the ideal next step. I can only fit like 2-3 panels on my property though way too much shade.
Love this and can't wait to see more videos of the KS0 ULTRA from you! You keep it 100, and straightforward! Whenever you do the overclocking if you could make the video VERY VERY starter friendly for people like me that are just gettting into this haha, also why didn't u grab a GoldShell? For a little more, you could of grabbed the "Goldshell KA Box Pro Kaspa Miner that mines about 1.6TH/s of KASPA thats like 4-6x the KS0 Ultra for just a little more? Iv been doing a lot of research on ASICs ever since you announced you were getting the KS0 Ultra, I think for people that have been mining KASPA for a while it is a good miner, and so is the GoldShell KA Box Pro, however for starting i think its too late. I don't see a 5-10 month ROI on the KS0 Ultra, even with the price of $285 TSwift gave for a KS0 unit. I'm looking at the IceRiver AL0 , these ALPH miners are the first generation miners for ALPH, right now its profitability is $12-13/day and is holding its price and even went up with the market being down. so ROI would be 2-3 months then all profit but even if its bad, 6 months max. KASPA and ALPH are both predictieded to go up in price so we will just have to wait and see. ANother thing I'm scared of is custom duties, the AL0 is $799 from IceRiver but they don't pay Duties, companies like Miner-Bros do pay duties iv asked their support but have everything listed much more expensive at $999 but witha discount code will be like $930. ah at this point im just talking, i rlly want to grab an ASIC but will it give me ROI fast and see profit in the same year hopefully or am i better off wasting my money on pump.fun for SOL meme coins that dump and one out of every hundred hit and make some money.. Ahhh I just need more videos and keep it 100 with us! Love u no homo bro!
@@WooDeWow appreciate all the kind words man! Any asic is risky right now with hashrate increasing on everything. Overclocking video will be coming soon, very beginner friendly! Also, I’ve got a video on pionex ai crypto bots which you may find interesting!!
I would love to have one of these or a KA box since that's about the closet thing i would be able to afford when it comes to mining. Maybe in a few years after I've collected enough Doge/LTC from my L3++ setup, i can use it to pick up the most relevant Kaspa Miner within my budget
Come on dude you just said your earnings are going to go down quickly then you ssid your ROI is 10 months because you completely ignore the fact your earnings are going to half every 4 weeks? Tut. Misleading.
This was filmed a week ago before I knew how bad it would get. Title was made day it was posted so there’s a time mismatch there. Wouldn’t mislead on purpose!
@@ModernMiningHub disregarding the current crash they don't ROI anyway as they'll never mine the amount of kas that you could have just bought outright with your money let alone elec costs etc on top... and that's my defenition of ROI
Thanks for another great explainer. Subbed to Greater Good Mining! 😉 You've inspired me to consider changing my setups from the simple fans sitting on top, which are commonly seen to shrouds with fans blowing through. I have a small mix of GoldShell and IceRiver , so great to have the air blowing in the same direction. Are you considering the AL0s from IceRiver?
Bro, great video! I haven't started mining yet, but I've been binging on these videos. Now, the question is, is all this effort actually worth it? You could buy all this awesome hardware and geek out, which is great. Or you can just DCA and buy the coin. If the hash rate is going up like crazy is there another coin that's got higher upside where the effort is warranted? So many questions! 😂
You make a great point and honestly right now you probably are better off buying unless you just want to get into a new hobby. I will say this hobby is amazing during winter heating your whole house with money printers!
Hey, I heard my name in there! I love to FAFO with the KS0 series home miners, the Ultra seems a little more picky than than Pro, butonce you get them dialed in they are awesome little mini home miners
@@ModernMiningHub with Pbfarmer's firmware you have full control over clock, voltage, fans and you can see a lot more information. Twift's firmware is just like stock but with preset clocks and voltages, which is not as efficient since all machines are different. There's also this risk with Tswift's firmware, your machine will be permanently bricked if you accidentally factory reset.
They only make around 4-5 KAS per day. The firmware upgrade actually fixes the fan issue or else if it ever shuts off and powers back on ,you will have zero fan. Every time the unit reboots you must adjust the fan, I run mine at 70% and gives me a stable hashrate over 400, runs between 63-67 degrees.
@@ModernMiningHub Direct thru Iceriver, it fixes the 0 issue on the fans apparently. I am running normal no overclocking. I only did one to test and then did the other, it does seem to now start the fans automatically if rebooted to keep it at a certain temperature, but I didnt like it running 85+ so I opted to use 70% and mine are around 63 degrees or so and hash rate is on par. On Nicehash 2 units made around $2.30-2.90 but that dropped so went to KAS directly and on Friday 2 units were getting 11-12 KAS but today it is down to 8-9.
To give you a real timeline, Aug 2 @ 8.30pm I put 2 Ultras on KAS and as of today, they have mined 52 KAS and avg. 786 GH/s on K1Pool, I could not get it to work on Herominers at all, it connected but no hashrate. Remember this is before any power costs. Overall to give your viewers a complete idea, 2 Ultras have mined 0.00048339 BTC since July 13 24/7, that is as real as it gets.
nice dude. thanks for the tutorial. will be useful for when i get my AL0s. i picked up some kaspa the other day when the market nuked. definitely one you want to have a toe in.
