We're back after not being here for 8 years. Good to be back. Not as many cats here as last time. There were kittens everywhere which we enjoyed feeding ❤ 🐈

Spent an afternoon with my two nephews at the harbour in Kassiopi when they were 10 and snorkelled there. They are now both Chartered Accountants and 27 happy memories
Been to kassiopi for the past 15 years, going again 9th oct, wonderful place, no gangs of screaming drunks, just lovely bars and restaurants, best place on earthto chill.
Kev.I.N Kassiopi was the first place I went to on Corfu, about 45 +- years back. None of those side streets had been built, it was literally the harbour and up to the where the bus pulled in. About 2 or 3 basic street lights. Away from the harbour the holiday brochures advised carrying a torch to see the 'village room' accommodation you were staying at. The harbour had a 3brothers taverna with Greek nights of plate breaking dances etc. Your too young, but a holiday company in Mancs was the SunMed and they specialised in Greek holidays. At that time the military Junta was in control and rules were you needed a resort address before immigration would let you in. So any flight only had an address like a PO box address. Any other Greek lovers remember that time too😎 Anyway enough prattle from me, Cheers DougT
We stayed in Acharavi.. went to kasiopi one evening. It was a real struggle to get a taxi back to Acharavi, no taxi wanted to take us because it was not on their route. Luckily after two and a half hours waiting a taxi wanted to give us a ride.
I worked in Kassiopi 30 years ago for two summer seasons. I then returned with my husband and children several times but the last time was 2009. Coming back to this beautiful place with a friend in 6 weeks. Can't wait. It still has its lovely charm, beautiful coves and wonderful eating places. Everyone falls in love with Kassiopi ❤❤❤
The Janis is my favourite but a bit pricey but a must visit at least once, service is excellent and it’s been there for years and years, the sunset views are awesome but as you say the beach is a tad poor and it’s never ever busy, happy travels mate 👌👍
We had the same problem we was staying near Kalamaki beach we waited a hour luckily some lads was going to ipsos they asked the driver if he could take us then turn round and take them he said ok
You should have continued down the main street to the harbour, which is stunning, then up the left of the harbour and round the headland to the most picturesque beaches, Bataria and Pipitou. The beach you visited is the least scenic in Kassiopi.
Kev your next destinations should be marmaris turkey or sunny beach Bulgaria my fav was sunny beach till I saw marmaris they got everything there it’s better than anatalya you should check them both out
You went the wrong way You should have gone down to the beautiful harbour and then along the stunning coast path to the beautiful beaches one with watersports They are all pebbly
I dont really think it is a shame the beaches are pebbles or that its not a big long sandy expanse. I found them more interesting, little coves everywhere. Really clear water was good to explore, when we went to to a big long sandy beach one day we all found it boring in comparison. Each to there own like. But yeh mate i would say yiu didnt go to the best beach there
Hi Kevin, can you let me know some details of your rucksack you have. We're off to tenerife in September and need something like that that will be allowed.
You went down the side street you missed the bay where the fishing boats are and all the restaurants are at 27 seconds you took a left at the square when you should have walke straight on
