that guy whos brothers all skate an their dad decided to be their filmographer and editor is so heart warming. he couldnt skate like them but he found a way to be a part of his children's passion and encourage them. He probably had the biggest smile watching his boys and editing their tapes. this guy rocks way to go dad. please do this for your kids. they need it. in fact if youre a parent? your kid needs hug. right now. no reason just do it
There was clip of that guy doing a trick at like 4 years old on a skateboard, its not "passion" at that age its more than likely he along with his brothers are being forced to learn to skate by the dad as a meal ticket, no different than some shitty stage parent trying to make their kid famous.
@@JoryBarrett People don't usually think of skateboarding as a way to make money. Not passion because he's 4 years old? I know a Japanese skater who is 3 years old and is full of passion because he loves skateboarding. There are a lot of passionate kids skaters in Japan. Don't be jealous.
Absolutly. They even won three gold medals in the 2020 Olympics for men's street, women's street and women's park. Japanese skaters are built different.
@@erickcontreras113 In the women's park division, athletes from the Australia, Japan and UK came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and interestingly, both of the athletes from the UK and Australia are half Japanese. American legend Nyjah Huston also has Japanese blood, and Japanese blood must have something to do with skateboarding. Needless to say, Horigome, who won gold medals for two consecutive years, is also Japanese.
Kento definitely grabs this show by showing us his slick moves & flips. Impressive. Love his style too. Someone said that "you can't wear a bucket hat if you don't have tech skills" Boy, Kento has got it!
Seriously one of the most fun things I've seen in a long time. The production value is top notch, the courses are all super cool, and the skaters all seem like they're having an absolute blast.
It's great to see the camaraderie and them all encouraging and helping each other even though it's a competition. They can laugh and have a good time at each others mistakes without anyone getting angry over it. This is how it should be. Great job to all of the gentlemen.
This is legit a show I would watch for years. The premise is excellent and it takes the great stuff from Takeshi's Castle and Ninja Warrior and brings that to a new world that I love: skating! Awesome work, KASSO team
I'm elevated rn and it wasn't until the drone shot at 36:58 that I realized this was not produced like 20 years ago because skater fashion has not changed much hahah
Even in Japan, a technological powerhouse, it is impossible to capture such clear, high-quality images using technology from 20 years ago. You're unusual for thinking this high-quality image was taken 20 years ago.
the best thing about this contest is that all of them can win the prize, so it's all for the pride, the sportsmanship, the fun...and of course the money!!
This is cool and all but a glorified obstacle course where tricks aren’t judged at all is not better for skateboarding than the Olympics. I would never get behind completely taking the creativity/ artistic expression out of skateboarding. As much as I enjoy this show.
Thank you so much for the english subtitles! Watching this is so entertaining and the skaters are so talented and skilled! I just started skating and barely have any experience but it's so fun watching others skate!
This show is a ton of fun. The presentation is great, the music is cool, and I love to see all the competitors supporting and getting hype for each other.
Thank you Kasso for episode 2!! A full episode!! Big thanks from America!! I’ve been trying to figure out how to access Japanese TV Broadcasting from America but I can’t figure out the loophole!! Like I said, Thank You!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the eng subs! Often overseas fans of japanese shows have to rely on fan subs which ofcourse tend to get taken down due to copyright, it's nice to have official uploads like this!
I just discovered KASSO and really enjoyed it! Can you maybe put the English subtitles a bit higher for the next one? It blocks the Japanese and I would love to read it, it helps me learn.
Great initiative. Love the creativity of Japanese people. Something fresh other than normal skate videos or skate comps. Love this. I skated since i was 11 up to 16. Quit due to commitments like work and family the restarted skating when i was 30 in 2021 but at this age i can't go big like how i used to and watching this make me happy lol
