It's always welcoming to hear good things from others, and it's even sweeter to hear they can apply something new that they have learned. It brings me joy. You'll get much more, I can promise you that! Thank you so much!

I've been wanting to for a while now. Next year is the closest it's been to Texas in a minute, and I've been contemplating on going.

That's one heck of a drive! Well, if timing permits, we may go. But that also depends on the conditions of our Kappas. If we happen to make we'll see you there as well!

At first blush, I'd say that little button underneath the steering wheel is a kill switch for the ignition to prevent theft (Chrisfix did a piece on those systems awhile back, so your button could be an iteration of that and might also explain the "wonkiness" you mentioned toward the end of your video depending on how it was wired / installed). I'm betting that, once it's pressed, that little light changes. I double-dog dare ya to click it and then try to start the car. If it doesn't start, there's your answer. If the car explodes, the RU-vid community witnesses you during your journey into the fine Halls of Valhalla. How many miles does she have? Might be time to do either the water pump / thermostat and or the timing chain. All that aside, it's good to see this beauty being taken in by someone who will undoubtedly take care of her. I hate seeing vehicles being mistreated. To me, every vehicle I've ever had was like a damn family member or pet. Ha.

That's also what I first thought it might be! But, pushing it seems to do jack squat. The light would also pulse on and off when we first bought it up to the first two weeks. Now it doesn't do a thing either. I've wanted to tap it while running, but my wife made it clear she would finish me off herself if the car exploded. So, it's safe to say I'll be following all the wiring to see what's connected to what and bring everything back to stock. The mileage is only 80,000, so I would say there's still some life in the pump, but I'm also prepared for any unexpected turns. The engine sounds good, no off tunes or tones, and everything sounds smooth. The coolant is a tad high at times, but I'm contributing that to an improperly filled system. I'm planning on doing maintenance and replacing fluids with quality supplements. My wife is excited and wants to learn as much as she can and how to do anything and everything. Which, of course, gets me excited as well. I'm also excited to be able to take care of it as well. It always brings a sense of accomplishment, seeing a mistreated vehicle getting another shot at its life. I would almost say heartwarming. Thanks for the great laugh as well, valhalla gave me a real good laugh!

@@Kaswells_Kappa, sounds like tracing the wiring would be the best option then. It's strange that it was blinking for a couple weeks only to now see it dead and makes me think about it being on its own battery if that's the case but I'm sure you'd see a different battery somewhere if that existed. Be on the lookout for any tracking devices when you track everything down.

It really is strange, isn't it! I haven't been too worried about any tracking device as I live in a gated community, but the thought does persist. Both me and my wife are weary of it, but then again, with how everything is nowadays, we already are. If I do find anything suspicious, it is immediately coming out. Don't have any time for that!

I absolutely will, I'll be documenting everything I do and how I came to find solutions for the issues like I always do. May not be for a little bit, though, seeing I'll have to remove most of the dash in some areas. I'll be doing other replacements, I believe, are more pressing first and eventually make my way there. Who knows, I may get a randomly get the urge to tear everything apart. The Sol's dash is easier to take apart than the Sky's!

Nice to meet you! You bought an automatic transmission car this time, I'm also riding an automatic transmission vehicle in Korea, and if you can this time, can I look forward to a video with a large-capacity transmission oil cooler?
@Kaswells_Kappa
@Kaswells_Kappa 10 дней назад
Hello from the other side of the world, nice to meet you as well! We're currently in Texas in the USA. At this time, I don't have any plans of installing any type of Transmission Oil Coolers as our Kappas don't produce enough HP, and we don't tow anything with them. However, if there ever does come a time where those criteria are met, you can bet your bottom you'll get a video on one. But until that happens, not at this time. Thank you, and it was nice to meet you again!

dealer stickers are criminal destruction of the product they're selling.
@Kaswells_Kappa

It really is! It's free advertisement, just like license plate holders with their information, draws away from the actual car, and it's a mess to get it removed depending on how long it's been applied to the vehicle. Terrible!
