This was just perfect like the ending of a romantic movie. Kat and Alfie are just perfect together and this was the best send off for them and in the snow!!! Perfect ending. Until they came back a few years later.

This is best moment ever when she leaves with Alfie so beautiful and the snow coming down just perfect

This was a beautiful christmas episode, makes me cry and smile and laugh. Eastenders really has changed since these days..now if you get to smile once at scene your lucky, christmas is just full of disasters now:( but its still my favourite show:D

I'm just going to forget that Kat & Alfie came back in 2010 and put their marriage in jeopardy again. Kat getting pregnant with Michael's baby, Ronnie switching her dead baby with Kat's baby, Kat having an affair with Derek, Alfie getting together with Roxy and marrying her, Alfie setting fire to the Slater's house and almost getting Kat killed, Alfie being diagnosed with a brain tumour etc. I'm pretending none of that ever happened. As far as I'm concerned, this was their final appearance. They never came back to Walford and they're still out there seeing the world. Also, even though I stopped watching EastEnders in 2007 (then started watching again in 2010 and then stopped again in 2012), I'm beginning to think I should have stopped watching right here. Going into 2006, things really started to get depressing, especially after Pauline died the following Christmas.

Can't wait until Kat and Alfie are back and they are getting the vic again :)

This is the first real memory I have of EastEnders. I must have seen it before this though, because I can remember I was absolutely heartbroken that Alfie was leaving. I had a wee bit of a crush on him - still do for that matter! 🩵
