Hi! I’m no figure skater, so could someone explain the difference (if there is one) between a triple toe and a triple axel? Because I keep hearing that the triple axel is a big deal even in the Olympics but all of the characters in Spinning Out can now do a triple easily.
to be more specific than previous reply, all six jump have different entrances but spin and land the same. without getting into the specifics of edges and stuff, the biggest difference between a toe loop and an axel is that with a toe loop you take off the toe pick (as shown at 1:03) where as the axel is taken off on the edge, meaning the bottom of the blade. also, the extra half rotation on the axel is because you enter the jump going forward and landing backward whereas all the other jumps enter backward and land backward. extra note: the triple axel is really only a big deal in ladies skating but fairly standard in mens

Essa série tinha tudo pra ser boa. Mas escolheram uma atris muito velha pra fazer papel de jovem. E eu não sentia emoção quando ela patinava. Tava mais que óbvio que eles usavam dubler. Pq não pegam alguém que saiba patinar kk
