Have you streamed Country Comfort on Netflix yet? It's filled with some special Kat performances like this one! Fun fact: Kat is a few months pregnant here during this scene. The show took a break from filming when COVID first hit & Kat got pregnant during the hiatus.
And Bo please don't leave Bo out. Cuz even Summer saw it. That look between Bailey and Bo at the end with his hat over his chest. Season 2 bout to be on.
The entire cast is sooo great, but especially the girl playing Cassidy. When she does her scenes where she cries, it feels so real and like it's something she actually went through. She is great. 🙏🏼
yeah the actress playing Cassidy is great ... but those playing Tuck, Dylan and Summer the gf are great too. Pulling off a character like Summer with her being part charming enough for Beau to take an interest yet dislikable enough for the children to be war is hard. In a way, Katharine McPhee had the easiest job playing Bailey who we are meant to like and root for.
Am I the only one who wished the whole time that Summer and Boone would screw up so bad that Bailey and Beau would dump them and FINALLY get a chance to have feelings for each other?
Katherine does that to alot of songs. She's so emotionally invested every time she sings. I can't listen to 'she used to be mine' from waitress without thinking of her and the way she sang it.
The last episode of country comfort was so sad how Boone left her once again she can do way better than him but, lord those kids love her so much they helped her in that competition even though there is a chance of her leaving them and now I wish I had a nanny just like her.
I love this show on Netflix. This song is my daddy's favorite song but he is died know but he is still in my heart and I still have moments with him.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
My daughter & I watched This & couldn’t stop . It is the best tv show in such a long time. My daughter was singing n we both were swaying to her singing . Whoever came up with this show starring Katherine is a genius! 🥳😂🥰🤩
It was created by caryn Lucas who also created the Sandra bullock miss congeniality movies among other comedies I believe she was also part of the creative team that also created the nanny
There was nothing else to tell in the storyline. She wasn’t going to lose the competition and stay with the family and when she DID win how would they have included the family?? I LOVED this show, but just couldn’t figure out a way to take it any further. 😢
My dad passed suddenly less than 2 weeks ago. I am dying inside. 52 and both of my parents are gone. I am alone :( thanks for your beautiful voice Katherine. I wish that this was on live TV. Great show!
No te conozco pero Dios te de fortaleza aún cuando sientes que no tienes a nadie a tu lado Dios esta contigo te cuidara y guiara siempre te ama y siempre estara atu lado como papá 💕🙏
Candace, I’m so sorry for your pain. I do understand; I’m still grieving over the sudden passing of my dad last July (my mom passed in 2016). I’m sending you my heartfelt condolences and blessings.
Australia here. Came across this series on Netflix and at first I wasn’t that keen until Kat sang and I went...holy crap...that girl can sing. It reminds me of the series The Nanny but with music. I looks forward to the second series.
I loved this show and hope they make more episodes I think this is so beautiful they had a band with their momma and when she died they were broken and couldn't sing or do music anymore then bailey brought them together
It’s great to see Katherine get back to her roots her singing is how she started it’s fitting that she returns to it. This show is a great mixture of comedy heart with life lessons added in as well well done to Netflix for seeing that and here’s hoping it lasts for a long time
I'm so proud of myself and disappointed that a finished this series in one day 😂 loved it, honestly a great show. I normally hate sitcoms too. Can't wait for season 2
Yea I keep coming back just to hear this version of a beautiful song that will stand the test of time. Especially since Cassidy sang in a band with someone other than her mother.
I loved the show. It's one of Netflix originals that I really enjoyed watching. The show has really good lessons and lots of good songs. I accidentally watched it and fell in love with the cast. Saw it when my father passed away last 2020. I really hope Netflix picks it up again.
This was the song of me and my former partners song. We were together six years. Couldn't relate more to this as he left me in the worst moment for "better" horizons. We said this was our song but never danced to it. After this beautiful show and it's wonderful connection I've had with it I can let this wondering song back into my life. Made me appreciate everything else that the road led to everyone else that mattered. Thank you 🥰
I waited and binged the entire season today because I have always loved Katherine McPhee. The talented cast of young people was a very welcome surprise. There were at least three episodes that brought me to tears but the one that really got me was the Leann Rhimes episode. I recently lost my mother and have been numb with grief, basically unable to cry. Between her being in a nursing home / unable to visit her over the last year and not being able to have a funeral for her with my brothers, I have not been able to process the fact that she is really gone. It does not matter at what age you lose a loved one, the grief is overwhelming. Thank you for such a beautiful, well written, and well acted show!
You just cant put a price on her beautiful surprise and subsequent reaction on her face when the kids sang the intro. It's just beautifully amazing. Well, you will get me better if you know the buildup to this moment.🌹
I hope they continue the show -- really enjoy the music they all make. Sure the show is a lot like a Hallmark Christmas movie, but the music saves the show for me.
I just love it! Laughed and cried.Really talented crew!👏👏👏👏❤❤❤This song and Kat's voice and whole scene made me cry.Really beautiful and warm tv show.👏👏👏👏
I watched the entire season of Country Comfort in two sittings. Great job to the entire cast and crew, especially Kat! All the episodes leading up to this scene made it touching and heartwarming. Normally, I’d download “Bless the Broken Road,” but none of the covers in the I-Tunes store contain the same magic as this video.
Beautiful!! I so needed to hear this, thank you Kat, I’ve had a horrific time these past few months and it’s all been bottled up inside, till I heard this song, sung so beautifully and I just cried and cried... finally, was able to get my emotions out, raw though it may be, I needed that cry, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!
